Love the title, i hope it attracts the haters expecting to see a negative report but instead they will see nothing but Chinas incredible architecture and people enjoying themselves 👍
I hope my 5th trip to China comes true this year as planned, the visa ease definitely makes it much easier to visit China again. My last trip to China in 2018 was mind blowing, if my life schedule permits, I would really like to spend a few years in China before I kick the bucket eventually. Such a beautiful country putting my own country to shame !!
Never been to China despite it has been at the back of my mind for so many years. The challenge for me is... where to start? China is so big. Do I fly to big city (the one with direct flight from overseas) to Shanghai, Beijing, Chengdu, etc, and then move domestically? Heard cash is a problem too, how to use Alipay and add money to it using foreign mobile phone?
I’m a Canadian I frequently travel to China even before the pandemic it’s not difficult at all. Since last year,2023 , they have this 6 days Visa free travel for transit passengers. tTe country, the cities and especially the people are really welcoming. You will see the real China not the China portrayed by the Western media.
@@multatuli1 If you want to see China 500 years ago, go to Beijing. If you want to see China 1,000 years ago, go to Xi'an. If you want to see China 3,000 years ago, go to Luoyang. Chongqing is just a new city. You need to understand that China is a very big country. You can find what you want in both modern and ancient times.
Wow. Hats off to Evana the intrepid lady. I can see the terror on her face when Steve invited her to that swing. It must take her a great deal of courage to overcome the terror and exceed herself. Steve, you are so lucky to have such a lady.
Chongqing is so famous for its foggy weather that there is a Chinese Idioms specifically for it, called 蜀犬吠日-- The dogs in Shu(ancient Sichuan, Chongqing area) will bark at the sun, cause they've never seen it.
@@chuckconrad8736 Exactly. The Chinese idiom 蜀犬吠日 was used by Liu Zongyuan in AD813, the Tang dynasty. China must have been secretly industrializing since more than a thousand years ago, you know.
Enjoy your trip in China😁we got 34 provinces and each of them are very different, have different style of food and architecture, and looking forward to your trip in Harbin city. The food in Harbin is also special, you guys should try the iconic Tanghulu(糖葫芦) in Harbin👍🏻
The skywalk was so WOW. I really like it. BTW, the foggy weather is very typical in Chongqing during winter, since Chongqing is sitting in the Sichuan basin, surrounded by mountains.
Yes, surrounded by mountain and covered by thousands of lakes and rivers, that's why there are so much trapped moist in the air creating the fog when there's a clash of hot and cold air.
I am scared of heights and normally avoid all these videos but I watched this one completely because I like you two so much. Thank you again for making all these!
Hello guys,I just paused the video because I need to comment,I would never go in that swing, maybe after one bottle of palinca 😂 .Ivana, you are brave!❤ from Timisoara
Fear is only in your mind in China as all these attractions are perfectly safe but walking by yourself in New York past midnight is more like walking in the jungle where predators and zombies are luring from every corner ready to devour you alive.
K, while I am 100% for showing the world how China is not what people think it is, lets stop the fear mongering and propagating the same fears about other places in the world. It is not that bad in NYC at all -- night or day.
I`ll be honest, I fell in love with Chongqing. Actually, I fell in love with China in general. I always had an affinity to Chinese culture since I was a child, mostly because my dad used to train traditional Changquan, having loads of Chinese books in the house, from forms, to budism, to dao philosophy and poetry. Recently I`ve started seeing more and more videos about Chinese cities and culture, and what once seemed so far away not seems closer and closer. I was thinking about planning a trip to China, hopefully in June, and bring my Dad and Grandmother along with me. If there are any local people here from Chongqing or mainland China that can give me advice about the trip, please let me know. Was planning to do 3 days in Shanghai, 1-2 weeks in Chongqing and 3 days in Zhangjiajie. Thank you very much 加油
@@曾平展 Thank you, thats the kind of details I want to know, I want to know exact prices of train tickets, buss tickets and other transports around china. I can find prices for accommodation online and plane tickets but nothing more. Any details are greatly appreciated !
I highly recommend you to do a cruise to the Three Gorges (三峡). It is one the most known places to Chinese. Three Gorges are three amazing valleys of the Yangtze River, with its scenery printed on the reverse of the 10 Yuan Banknote. I am a Chinese living in the country.
This is a must-see in Chongqing and a must-see in China. Cruises depart from that pier under the Raffles skyscraper, actually one boat can be seen from Skywalk in your video!
In the summer, go to Huashan Mountain in Xi'an, China, and allow 1-2 days to climb the mountain. It is the scariest mountain, especially if you climb from the bottom to the top without taking a cable car. Going to the dangerous place on the top of the mountain, I feel exhausted and weak, my hands and feet are weak, but I feel like I might fall to the bottom of the mountain if I am not careful..
It is so impressive the growth of China in these last thirty years!!! The videos you are posting during your stay there, show this very clearly. It is similar to what happened to the United States in the begginig of the 20th century. There seems to be no doubt that China is the new world Super Power. Let's hope it is for the best!
Not even you, when I see you walking on the glass floor, I am scared so much as well lol. Anyways, welcome to China. Enjoy your trips here. Love from China. ❤
Indeed, there are thousands of large and small cities with their own characteristics, and there are many cities with a history spanning thousands of years. Even if each key point goes for one or two days, it will take a lot of time. Many Chinese people have never traveled across the country in their lifetime. Even China, which has the strongest high-speed railway in the world, has a vast territory. I hope that in the future, faster railways can make people realize their wishes.
This year many new traveler visa rules came out. Depending on your nationality, you can have an 144-hour transfer visa or even a 15-day visa free entry,

Wow, quite an amazing thing to get off the bucket-list! Also, the only scary part of China, on rooftops or not, is Steve singing. Gosh, that was quite the jump-scare, good job, Steve!
Hey there u guys, im a malaysian chinese. I have been following you since your visit in Malaysia.Im so glad to see that you have made your way to my favourite country! Im sure you will enjoy your stay there!
The swing actually looks much safer compared to the one at A'DAM Lookout. It's not as tall but there's no harness. In fact it looked more like a ski lift there.
usiaku 48 tahun, aku tidak yakin kalau aku akan berani berayun di situ. aku tidak khawatir ayunannya akan patah, tetapi khawatir mendapat serangan jantung.
I love you both 💞 I'm watching every video. I'm worried about you guys with the reports of rains. Please let us know that you are doing well. Please be careful. 💞 Xoxo💞 San ⭐
