Very normal feeling the roommate phase. I’ve been with my husband since we were 14, now 28 😅 we also have a soon to be 4yr old. It does get tough when your routine of breakfast, work, supper, cleaning, play, bath time and bed. Just have to realize the cleaning can wait a day. Memories are more important. Also finding time to do things with your spouse not just going out to dinner but like movies, hockey game, hiking, etc. finding fun / different things to do to feel the change of environment.

When it comes to blow outs, the reason hair looks frizzy is yes, you need a good anti frizz serum and heat protectant but also, your hair has to be fully dry. You may need to go over it a few times with the blow dryer so the frizz can be gone. The reason it looks frizzy it because your hair is still somewhat wet although it may feel dry. I have curly hair too! My best tip for blowouts is actually to have your hair be MORE air dryed when you do it. Having it be wetter makes it blowout frizzy like that. It seems counterintuitive but trust me! And definitely do small sections since your hair seems thicker like mine. I’d recommend heat protectant before and then hair oil after doing it! 🤎 love your videos and little family!!

I’m a hairstylist and It’s a 10 makes a good blowout cream. But if you use the blow dry wet to dry brushes like that if your hair is just a little bit damp it helps prevent frizz. Also Kenra blow dry spray is amazing.

The roommate stage hit me and my husband without me realizing it bc of my ppd. It took him saying he didn’t realize he’d be coming in 2nd to her for me to see it. Even tho your hair looked frizzy I loved the way it looked, it looked thick and voluminous sometimes when you straighten it it looks thin. I have curly hair too, once you learn how you’ll want to do it all the time!! It’s faster than straightening your hair and it feels so soft 😭😭👌🏼

You have to rinse your conditioner with cold water, don’t put a lot of products in it. Only a little moisturizer (nothing oily) and heat protectant. Then blow dry your hair and pass through the flat iron once in about 400°.

Girly, my mum has curly hair and I have poofy half straight half wavy hair. We swear by the Kevin Murphy young again serum before blow drying. I’m also loving the verb ghost oil. I’m going to try to explain this the best I can with words. Grab the tissue paper in the center of the sheet, pinch it and throw your hand up and down like how you would a trash bag but with one hand (only do this once, maybe twice). where you pinched (center of the sheet) will come to a point and that is what you will insert into the bag. the rest of the tissue paper will be pointing up and look nice. I really hope that made sense 😂
