Join us for a visit to Senoia, GA, the town famous for filming locations including The Walking Dead, Fried Green Tomatoes and so many other iconic productions! First we check out a fun, weird roadside attraction called Barbie Beach and catch it in a state of flux, but still very cool to see, and then we travel to the beautiful down of Senoia, Georgia, and see the iconic walls of the Walking Dead safe zone of Alexandria - actual film sets around a neighborhood that will soon come down as filming for the show has now come to an end! We also see the water tower of Woodsbury, the bridge leading to Terminus and many more sites of the filming of the AMC Walking Dead television show, plus an iconic home from the film, Fried Green Tomatoes. We also have an incredible lunch at Nic and Norman's restaurant, owned by a Walking Dead actor and producer/makeup artist, and get a look at some of the film sets and costumes on display in the official Walking Dead store in town, The Woodbury Shop! From the Barbie Beach roadside attraction house to souther USA filming locations, we had such a fun road trip day in Georgia! Senoia is a beautiful town and a lovely road trip travel day in Georgia in spring of 2022!
