It could be also something else. The OP world has multiple moons, which could raise the sea level. Imu (Umi in japanese is Sea) of the Nerona family (Nero is also black) could have a power related to the moon, which is a direct opposite of the Sun god. The moon also does not have it's own light, but reflect the sunlight instead, therefore is usually associated to dark and evil creatures (like the gorousei). Then consider that there is (or was) a race called Lunarian (from Luna, moon), the fact that Eneru is on one of those moons with an ancient civilization's remnants, such as automata. And even though we have a Sun god, I believe there is nothing related to a Moon god yet. Maybe I'm wrong, but I trust Oda's skills and I'm sure it will be epic anyway.
She has been proven to be able to affect inanimate objects, awakening allows you to affect the world around you in a grander scale. It's just a personal theory I have that may or may not be a plot hole
Bonnys fruit allows her to choose what potential version (past and future) she wants you to be. So if she does this to the red line or the world as a whole, boom. Apocalypse avoided
My favorite personal theory makes Rogers act in the beginning a lot less interesting lol. I believe Roger lied about his treasure and mentioned it to start the great pirate era as a way to save as many lives as he can. Like more pirates means more people on boats which means more survivors and more rescuers
@@AB-bt8sy It likely is tangible, though it is probably not treasure in the way most pirates would think of it. The One Piece definitely is heavily tied to the Void Century.
@@AB-bt8sy well yea but Oda also confirmed treasure doesn't mean jewels or gold so again Roger could have lied. It is obviously a treasure but probably not what he has everyone thinking it is
@@andrewstrid8016 because Roger knew he was too early. Obviously something he read told him an exact date. So I think it's a planetary alignment thing like only happens every so many hundred years or so. So if he told white beard this then white beard would obviously know there is no point in looking anymore either.
The imu having a mythical zoan jormangundur, creating the red line and then Luffy beating him and making his devil fruit ability disappear, that being the red line fits all too well with the story. And the one piece being a giant land mass far beneath the ocean which won’t be seen until the red line is destroyed and the water levels go back down is so poetic and fitting. Honestly if this isn’t what happens I’ll be disappointed, it’s literally too perfect of an ending. It also explains why Roger said he wishes he was born in joyboys time. He didn’t strike me as the type to care about technology that they had I believe the world itself was different and that’s what Roger wanted to see
Imu is too young to have created the Red Line. I believe the Moon people created it. They went to the Moon to escape the first flood, while the ancient civilizations created the Great Weapons, as transports for other civilizations to survive the flood. Then when the new islands popped up, the weapons let out the other civilizations to repopulate. Later on, the Moon people developed tech that would create the Red Line. They came back to Earth and created the Red Line to live on, so they would not have to worry about the next flood. Imu gaining power and creating his World Government, removed the Moon people from the Red Line and then attacked any civilization that remembered the flood; as the 2nd flood happened during the Void Century. Fish people under water survived the flood. The Land of Wano with its wall survive the flood. The Minks survive the flood because of the Elephant. The Sky people survive the flood because of them being in the clouds. The Sky people could be distant relatives of the Moon People. Some Moon people, surviving the onslaught by Imu, went back to the Moon. Humans were set upon the Red Line, then went out to the islands to repopulate. Then The World Government was in control and the Ancient civilization destroyed. Now Imu has determined a select of humans to survive the next flood on the Red Line.
Flood theory ties into Wano with the wall. The original Wano is deep under water behind huge wall that could protect from flooding to a point. So I believe a flood has already happened at least once. What I don’t understand is how removing land masses and creating giant holes where the sea water perpetually flows into it would cause the sea level to rise
So heres my theory 😊 The government didn't immediately go after the fruit and luffy ., this has happened before. Its been stated that the fruit and its zoan (will) have been avoiding them for 800 years. So i believe that while it is a threat to the world government. They weren't going all out because they assumed that luffy, like many before him, would die before ever awakening it. The fruit never being awakened after joyboy and before luffy is further backed by zunesha being surprised he returned. The original joyboy defied imu and their plans, creating a rebellion. Joyboys team/crew were known as the Dawn pirates. The jolly roger was a sun. Symbolic of a new dawn raising after the world was free. Imu and the world government all knew that the water level on the planet was rising, and eventually, all life would be under the sea. So what did they do? They began a plan to ensure only a select few would survive. However, joyboy believed that everyone should survive. So he created Noah. His plan was to have everyone board the ship before the flood. This matches his promises to the fishman to bring them to the surface. With noah and the world flooding, joyboy knew that survival hinged upon the fishman helping humanity. Imu however hated their superiority, and decided to have them enslaved. The world government also new that high ground would be detrimental to their survival. However the Lunarians lived on top of the now holy land Marijoa at the top of the red line. This is the single most highest point and by logic, the safest place to hide out the great flood. The Lunarians were killed so that the celestial dragons can inhabit the top of the red line. This is why they wear old styled diving shits with glass domes. Not to keep thek from sharing air. But to prepare for the flood. Now laws devil fruit is perhaps THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF IMU PLAN!. The perpetual youth ability gives the recipient mortality. Imu alongside the gorosei have all had this used on them, which is why they havent aged since the void century. This way, imu can ensure that the world can be ran they way they see fit. By making sure they live to oversee it Now before the death of joyboy, imu held a conference and explained whats happening to the world to a select few. They all pleged alliance to the then empty throne. Everyone accept joyboy (who i believe was the king of the old kingdom) and the queen of alabasta Nefertari D. Lili. She sided with joyboy and decied that the world needed to learn the truth. She spread the ponglyphs across the world hoping to expose the truth, however she disappeared. I believe she also used kumas devil fruit to accomplish this. With the world flooding and joy boy unable to fulfill his promises of uniting the world. Imu had won. Now my theory on the one piece is that its a giant ship simmilar to Noah. But its on the last island. (Or maybe it is the last island) Now Hear me out. Rogers crew burst into laughter when they saw the giant ship because they knew it was useless to them. Laughing at their own misfortune was a trademark of the roger pirates even shanks adopted this carefree nature. They found the ship with one last ponglyph explaing the current situation that the world will flood and that humanity needed this ship to survive. This is why roger said he was "too early " he knew that the world had limited time. Thats why he disbanded the roger pirates after finding it. So they can live out their lives and enjoy their lives. This also would explain why he seemingly gave up after seeing this. Yes the one piece is another giant ship!. Also from what weve seen i believe Rayleigh and doc crocus knew the world is flooding. Which is why Rayleigh learned how to perfectly coat a ships to survive under water; and why crocus lives so closely with a literal whale. Pluton was built to be a moving guard for this new ship. The ship that would hold the worlds population in one place/one piece. The will of D is literally the decedent's of the dawn pirate's will of being free. Luffy will discover that the world is flooding and head to Marijoa to confront imu. But the last question is, whats is luffys dream?? This has been speculated for years! But i believe i figured it out. Luffy shared the same exact dream with Gol D Roger. I believe luffys dream is to hold a party with everyone in the world attending. Now before you dismiss it think about it. Throughout the story of one piece the battles have always had 1 key aspect on common. The after party! Everysince sky island the strawhats have a huge feast and dance and laugh after every large victory. This is probably why everyone laughed and or was shocked when he said it. You see luffy doesnt csre about status or power. He wants to be the king of the porates because its know to be the most free person . With the world flooding and knowing eventually everyone would be in one place. The big world party seems more realistic right?? Lets dig deaper, luffy has forged binds with almost every important kingdom in the world. From the sandy land of Alabasta, the white sea clouds if skypea; even to the depths of the sea in fiishman island. He even has binds with the giants. I believe in the end after the battle with imu and the red line being destroyed. Luffy will look around at the party with the straw hat fleet and realize his dreams of having a party with everyone from around the world would come true. And that's how one piece will end.
@Chris-kk9jj close but not quite. If you revisit fishman Island there is a giant massive ship that sank literally called noah. That's why I think the one piece is another version of noah
@user-td7mz3dq8z what If that ship was a failed attempt to recreate the pluton seeing as the blueprints were avaliable before what happened at water7 arc
My theory is this EMU was once a celestial dragon ( probably still is in a way ) and he wanted his people to be the only race or the master race in all of one piece in order to do that he made his armies ( the 5 elders and the world government nations ) and fought in a war to take control of world hence why he probably fought the original joyboy and won which is why we saw that giant straw hat in his palace or chamber. And so the either the buster calls or the mother flame the world government made started to sink islands that oppose them which made the sea level rise each time it happens so this probably going to go on until no more islands are left and it’s just the celestial dragons the elders and him on top of the world sitting on top of the grand line untouched ( but that’s ofc not going to happen because luffy will deafeat him) and this has probably been going on for 800 years I strongly think he has some type of water base devil fruit in which I remember mihawk saying something like this at the battle of marine ford “ he who control the seas controls the world “ in which imu is at the top of everything and he controls the world without anyone knowing except the elders.
With Vegapunk referencing how the goddess of the sea opposed the devil fruits, I can't unsee that Imu backwards is UMI. Umi being Japanese for sea/ocean. It would make a lot of sense if Imu is the same goddess of the sea that opposed the devil fruits. Also, what an incredible opportunity for the devil fruit users to overcome their greatest weakness.
I don’t ever see anyone talking about how the fishmen say they used to live under the sun. We all assume they used to live on the surface and moved under water, but what if their entire island was on the surface to begin with? The ark was being built on their island before a massive sea level rise. Why the heck would fishmen need a big ol air bubble around their island? They don’t. It Was done long ago because of the sinking of their island. The fact that they were enslaved goes along with being punished for picking the losing side in the conflict.
Would be crazy if the fishman were actually the people who were on the Noah and it sank and they became sea people similar to a mythology of mermaids in real life their bodies adapted or transformed from a secret power Poseidon might have, and that’s why he apologies for not bringing the ship back up to the surface so they could go back to the land
The Moon does command tidal waves. So the whole Moon Devil Fruit Theory still could relate to Imu. Plus, Imu spelled backwards is Umi (Japanese word for 'Sea').
@@tommcburney301 it is already explained to us it destroys things to put it simple which cause the sea to react that way but if emu wanted they can just sink the island
Umibōzu (海坊主, "sea priest") is a giant, black, human-like being and is the figure of a yōkai from Japanese folklore. Other names include Umihōshi (海法師, "sea priest") or Uminyūdō (海入道, "sea priest"). Little is known of the origin of umibōzu but it is a mythical sea-spirit creature and as such has multiple sightings throughout Japan. Normally, umibōzu appears to sailors on calm seas which quickly turn tumultuous. It either breaks the ship on emergence or demands a bucket or barrel from the sailors and proceeds to drown them. The only safe way to escape an umibōzu is to give it a bottomless barrel and sail away while it is confused.
Perhaps there are only a few holes and the sea level only rose about a meter which in terms of our world (1 or 2 meters) would be massively cataclismic, with us losing a startlingly large area of land. So now Imu wants to do this further.
The red line probably existed before 800 years ago but based off comments from Nami and others,it seems large parts of the red line were man made 800 years ago.
Idk I kinda think this is a weak argument and I think that’s just a coincidence. Shanks is smart enough to coat his ship or learn the air step move like the CP agents and sanji. Both of which would protect them from the sea rising.
Hear me out. Im writing a dnd campaign where i god created a world and another one of my members who is normally dnd is my "partner" acting as "satan" before i take over as "god" again. When i take over i follow alot of Christianity like things but i also create many god like people to help me keep control. I flooded the world to remove the people he created and the knowledge of how magic works. ( He gave his power to all people the power of imagination) So i try to make it a royalty thing and oppress the people by any means. That way they only believe royals can use that power and that they cant grow stronger. Been working on this since highschool but this gives me some of the same vibes. Not a whole lot but a bit
Thank you everyone for liking. If you wish to ask for information or at least more information, I will be happy to give so. Sadly at this moment I am farly more intoxicated than I can handle. Backspace, so it will have to wait a moment before I can respond. I will answer plenty more questions to an extent. I eventually want to be a book writer or just a RU-vidr doing my d&d campaign, so I cannot give enough information in which that you guys can derive too much information from. People on this planet in groups are so intelligent. They work together far beyond one person can handle. And I as God in my d&d campaign I have to handle that. Backspace, so I will have to deal with that. Now as God I will tell you I am almighty I am all powerful I will control every person on this planet. All this is done for voice command I am very drunk any mistakes sorry
@@benjaminbeckingsale4200 I created a DND campaign. I am God. I made Satan. Satan is God I am banished. Satan creates many gods. Satan creates Nobels and gives more magic to. He floods world to wipe me away from history
I also consider Poseidon to be for controlling the sea kings, because in a world flooded like that you would have to worry about them being everywhere. Having the ability to control them means safe passage in the new flooded world.
The best scenario for me would be that in the laughtale straw hats discover that one piece is in moon and they go to the moon to find it and then Enel becomes the final boss of one piece
@@multitasky3952to bad you didn't write ✍️ it down now he will have 100% credits if it comes true even if it came true only about 20-50 will clap for you at best regardless
Hm, how very interesting, it would be fascinating if this ended up being the case. Also, funny you would mention a previous Great Flood, because that has been my personal Headcanon for many Years now.
I wonder if the world has been cyclically flooding... Do you think the shallow sea by the Skypian Vearth-bound "islanders" acquired the vast wealth of their golden city when that skull shaped Island of theirs was the highest peak of a much larger continent?
I've got a wacky theory, If I may: The fishmen DIDN'T evolve naturally. They are descended from human volunteers who were transformed into the first fishmen. They were transformed to protect the Ancient Kingdom, or at least its legacy. The Ancient Kingdom had such advanced technology, it took the entire early iteration of the world government to bring them down. If not for Imu-Sama and the Gorosei, I think Joyboy and the Ancient Kingdom would cooked those fools. Oh, and the original group of volunteers? They were WORLD NOBLES who actually came to regret their fellows behavior and wanted to do something as both a means of atonement and to safeguard the future. Just a thought.
Just love how complex one piece is and there is always context for everything never really watched it but love the mystery 😂🔥 found out my nigga luffy a sun god like what😂
I wonder if Imu's ultimate plan was just leaving before the flood? The small winged creatures in the mural look like maybe proto-seraphim to me. Makes me think that the world government allowed Vegapunk to study the technology of the Ancient Civilizations in order to find out why and how those people made it too the moon.
1. I think Fishman island was created like this (we could see the sun and the sky from that island) 2. Sea level rises because of the water displacement by the hole and the land that went down the water. 3. The great flood was created due to the displacement vy a large amount of land. Most probably the ancient kingdom. 4. I think Joyboy was the only power-holder 900 years ago (He might've come from another planet or moon). Imu (who was tortutured in joyboy's planet corrupted the remaining kingdom's by offering them devil fruits and turned them against joyboy. That is why they are manifestations of human beings' desires. Imu did not plan for joyboy's power to be transferred. 5. Blackbeard knows this and has dark-dark fruit to cancel the devil fruit powers to fight against Imu.
what if the noah was used by the ppl of the void century to go under water and then they evolved into the fishman. it explains why the kingdom is in an air bubble.
Imu is going to end up being a water Logia fruit that took over it's human host (most believe it's going to be Luffy's mom). It's likely this fruit is water-aligned and this is why Imu is attempting to sink the world.
I don't understand how adding more holes would raise the sea level. If anything, that would lower the sea level. Now, adding more mass to the sea would definitely raise the sea level. But adding more holes would not, may cause tsunami's, crazy currents and upset some balance. But that should not raise the sea level. Least I don't think it would
@check_profile3851 well it's just an assumption. If you think about it, All Blue should have somehow existed before and that is why few people talk about it and believe in its existence. so the most possible explanation for All Blue might be a great flood which happened before.
Anyone noticed that imu is only shown with one hand? Also, in the anime, you briefly see a "hand" holding the brush crossing out the island of lulusia. That hand being bright pink.
Oh shit you brought up grandline reviews coverage of the pole shift, i was just thinking about that when you brought up the flood being a natural thing
So…? Overpopulation? I mean that could have lead to horrible wars, starvation, and other things. It wouldn’t be so farfetched as there isn’t much land about. Although the red line may be a weapon itself. It could sink and increase the sea level as it is massive, but maybe it has other functions or uses. The red line has to play a bigger part than just high ground. 21:05
the reason is only 1 devil fruit mother nature curse it so all the devil fruit eaters will die so the main enemy for emu which is nika will be dead during the flood
Ngl i feel like we definitely know Uranus is to blame for the planet being flooded just look at the chapter where *Redacted* was destroyed wiped away from history. Like it never existed
Maybe the one piece is the one missing piece to help stop the flood and why it’s such an important treasure coz it’s literally what’s going to save the world 🌎
Hello, I was against your idea in your previous video of Luffy destroying the redline and causing a flood. But looking at this video, I think destroying the redline will kind of save the world from the flood. If the redline is like a dam, destroying it would cause flooding of the outside world, but what if the earth is inside the redline dam, then destroying it will make the water flow out. Imu might be scared that destroying the redline will make the earth lose its ocean, therefore he rose against Joyboy. And just like in Avarter, losing the moon will make the world lose its balance, so losing the ocean will also make the world lose its balance.
Hearing about how joyboy might have had the 3rd ancient weapon and hid it. Bear with me here. You might be right about Imu having it. What if Joyboy couldn’t achieve his goal because he never got ahold of Uranus
