Winning the bundesliga for the 1st time with a club like Leverkusen who hasn't won a trophy in 30 years against a mighty Bayern Munich who doesn't know what it feels like to lose a title in a decade has to be the greatest achievement ever in football history.
Certainly one of them Leicester's title win was unbelievable but Leverkusen may go undefeated and might complete the treble in which case its almost untouchable.
As a bayern fan myself, it is sad to see our collapse this season but its truly amazing what xabi has conquered with the squad. We will probably start winning the bundesliga title again next season but a wonderful accomplishment for lever.kusen
@@obinnaobiekwe4910probably because he can... And because he is speaking to German fans. It's not really different to Klopp or Guardiola speaking English in their current clubs.
He really went to Neverkusen and won the title in his first full season. Still undefeated for the whole year in all comps. How do you even surpass that
This is already one of the greatest seasons of all time for any team. On top of that… if they somehow manage the treble, it will most likely be the single greatest season ever.
Weldone to him what a Great Job... but this is not his 1st season he came in 2002, 2003 made them qualify for Europa where he came 5th now the Are league champions
@@bosahejindu2561He said 'first FULL season' for a reason. Last season he picked them up mid-way in a relegation spot, this season, he was with them since matchday 1 and even had a summer to sign a few players to complete his system. His first full season was this.
Real Madrid’s coach in 2025 once Carlo’s contract expires. It’s confirmed already that Perez wants Xabi to be Ancelotti’s successor and the feeling is mutual. RM is gonna be scary. Just imagine: Mbappe, Vini, Bellingham, Valverde, Camavinga, Tchouameni, Davies, Militao, Alaba, Frimpong, Lunin, and Xabi Alonso leading the team.
Hahahah bro ,arsenal fans are the worst ,sure he had a bad start that season ,but xhaka is a warrior ,and arteta was using him quiet good ,and arsenal was almost getting the tittle ,but arsenal fans ,yeah we don’t want him ,play now Ben white and company ,useless, even Declan rice cannot be compared to xhaka
@@tufilikoroi6948 yep can’t forget about that. If he doesnt become the best manager of all time and surpass Sir Alex Ferguson than I don’t know what it will take to surpass SAF.
For all the stick he got at Arsenal and for the difficult time he had in the Premier League, Alonso brought him back to Germany, has helped rebuild his career and he is on top of the world right now alongside his Leverkusen teammates. Well deserved winners.
@@brunch.I respect leverkusen but come on. Bayern 2020 and Barcelona 2009 won real sextuples. If they stay unbeaten for the rest of the season, it could be top 10 of all time no doubt
I am a bayern fan since 2011 and what a run we had. I am very happy for xabi alonso. What a player and a manager he is. Love from nepal and a bayern fan❤❤🎉🎉
Dortmund and Stuttgart fan here. My God do I love seeing Leverkusen winning their first Bundesliga title. THe enthusiasm from Xabi is so palpable, best of luck for his next tenure with Leverkusen!
Man did the historic with his very first full season as a manager ! Imagine him in Bayern or Madrid 😳 but I'm happy with his decision to stay next season at Leverkusen. And i hope Leverkusen win the treble ❤
Alonso at Bayern wouldn't be such a big story because everyone expects Bayern to win a ton. People would rage if he'd ever lose five games there. But Alonso and Leverkusen are the perfect match.
Bayer04 to the world❤❤. Go Leverkusen.....❤❤❤ Xabi has cemented himself as a strong contender for the Coach of the year award.....He achieved a historic feat... and made the dream of many leverkusen fans come to reality. I wish them success in other European competitions.
Congratulations from a Bayern fan I feel happy for your club and I think it was time for someone to show up and show Bayern levels after all these years with no competition in the league 👏👏👏
He is Basque. His native language is as complicated as German. He is multilingual (basque, spanish and english) so i guess it is less complicated to learn a fouth language as he is used to thinking in different languages.
As a Liverpool fan he made the right choice staying with Leverkusen, when things are good they love you but during hard times you see the truth and he has not had hard times yet. GL for next season. YNWA
Ich als Herthaner bin neidisch a euch und freue mich gleichzeitig für euch, dass ihr Meister geworden seid und so einen sympathischen Trainer für euch gewonnen habt. Ihr könnt stolz auf euch sein.
