Oh, I'm all for going through Universe again! It's my go to playlist if I need a dose of positive energy. Don't forget the Prologue and Dreamtime! The Prologue is too epic not to cover again.
Yup, got tickets for September, whoop whoop! Ayreon's Angels are phenomenal lead vocalists doing the backing honours. Arjen's secret weapon. They should have a tribute video singing their praises! 😇 Cheers!
@@BrendonChase_2015Got tickets as well 🥳. If I remember correctly the mentioned video was made during the preparations for the Universe concert, when most of the non Dutch vocalists were still not on site. So Ayreon's Angels took the lead singers part for rehearsing.

Nightwish and Ayreon, two bands/ projects that are on an epic level. Don't forget to watch "the gentle storm" with "storm" or "brightest light" live in Zoetermeer . Another of Arjen's projects. It is an amazing melting pot of talents. I just read that Anneke van Giersbergen is now touring in South America with Marko and Tuomas from Nightwish. If that is the truth I would not mind visiting one of those shows. I was one of the lucky ones visiting Ayreon in Tilburg the other week. Just had major surgery removing my goosebumps... We are so lucky to be born in this time of life to be able to experience these great artists and composers. Still, the majority of people don't know these artists. Shall we "hush hush" keep them for ourselves or shall we spread the gospel 😂🎉❤?
I think you'll appreciate this song even more, knowing it has been inspired by a novel of a famous Italian writer: "Il nome della rosa" (the Name of the Rose) by Umberto Eco, who wrote this novel in 1980 :) By the way: the original song (in the "Actual Fantasy" album) is almost 10 minutes long

I always find it curious that Ayreon uses so many great singers and yet not Tarja Turunen or Anette Olzon. I know he has used singers from so many countries including UK, Canada, USA, Norway, Finland, Australia, Germany, Sweden, Mexico and obviously The Netherlands.
My guess is that Arjen like me is just not a fan of pure operatic singing and as for Anette, to be frank she has never been that great live, just my opinion from what I saw of hers.
