oh we r so far from accepting all bodies...sure it's better than the toxicity from the early 2000's but body shaming still exists. Now that social media is prevalent people use body shaming as one way to cyber bully people..especially if u look at the cases of celebrities like Billie Eilish (Ever since her unflattering pic taken by a paparazzi at a parking lot she was getting a lot of ugly misogynistic comments from older men about her body), Jesy Nelson From Little Mix (she had to quit the group because of how the body shaming cyber bullying took a toll on her mental health), Lizzo, Adele, Taylor Swift (during her 1989 era when she became extremely skinny, because of the tabloids talking about her physical appearance it made her very body conscious, extending her up to taking severe diets which led to food disorder which was talked about in her documentary, Miss Americana.), Selena Gomez (after her kidney transplantation stretch marks seen on her body), Demi Lovato (when she was criticized for having fat thighs)Serena Williams (where she was mocked for looking too "manly") etc.. if celebs r getting this much body shame imagine the regular people who goes through this especially teenagers.
