BOLT IS GOATED. I was OBSESSED with this movie as a kid! I watched it all the time. I will gladly die on the hill that it's one of the most underrated Disney movies ever.
Man, Chris Sanders got screwed over hard by Disney changing this movie so much from his original vision of it. But thankfully, when he left, he went to DreamWorks to make How to Train Your Dragon so it all worked out in the end.

I was always so confused how they were able to keep Bolt oblivious to the fact that he isn't really a super dog for so long. Like, how is that even remotely possible?
The fact Disney hasn’t turned _B0LT_ ,this super awesome cgi talking animal movie, into a live-action adaptation is honestly surprising to me. Like, idk whether to be happy they didn’t or disappointed that this movie isn’t good enough for them to bring back for a shitty remake like the other crud they put out.
If they do end up doing something like that, I think they should keep the plot line a lot closer to, say, the in-universe TV show. I feel like that just never got explored enough in the movie. Think the Bolt PS2 game, but a movie
I love how Jack isn't in the episode. Don't @ me, he just makes me cringe so much. Kor and Eden have a nice chemistry that usually gets ruined by Jack's over-the-top cringey humour. I'm not saying he shouldn't be part of the gang, he's as important as the others, but I wish he'd say less stupid edgy shit.
This movie NEVER fails to tear me up today when it comes to its emotional and heartfelt moments Its one of the best dog/cat movies I've ever watched and the music is absolutely fitting
I had this movie on DVD. It was honestly fun for what it was. Also, keep in mind this was John Travolta at his prime when he still had charm and still had the guts to call Idina Menzel “Adele Dazeem”.

I LOVED THIS MOVIE OML glad to see people talking about it still. it also does a good job of anthropomorphising the animals while still having them act like their real world counterparts. the relationship between the dog and the cat is TOO accurate because my cat would tease and boss my dog around relentlessly like a bad babysitter. my brother also once had a hamster, and she was actually insane
On the plus side, American dog getting canned did result in how to train your dragon, the croods and the wild robot all happening sense chris sanders left Disney for dreamworks.
@wellidontknow1941 there are so many movies I watched as a kid that I get back to now and I can't help but think to myself "what a fucking idiot I was!". Though it is quite satisfying fully understanding the plot of movies now that my brain has grown some
This was one of my favorite movies as a kid. I remember arguing with a group of kids on the playground who got to be Bolt in our Bolt roleplay during recess
But Kor, calling things cringe is the most cringey middle school behavior possible. Bolt isn't my favorite Disney movie, but I've always enjoyed it. It's got a nice bit of heart/charm and just feels like Homeward Bound in some ways. Gaslighting a dog is a new Hollywood one, but people have done worse to animals for films sadly. Honestly Eden and Kor have such a weirdly calm energy.
I had a dream last night where I was yelling at my math teacher and told her you guys would hate her and you guys teleported in my classroom and said “you’re not spilling the milk approved” My math teacher ran off and cried 💀
My brother and I LOVED this movie as kids. We were obsessed. Can't get myself to dislike it even though it certainly is not as good as nostalgia would have me believe.

BOLLLTTTT!!!! dude i love this film its so underrated, the action scene at the start has no business being as good as it is. and honestly all of the characters have pretty good personality and development (even if i do find Rhino a bit annoying at times, i actually used to have a plush of him) good film, love to see people appreciate it :)
The last time I saw this movie, I cried a lot. My brother and I had this on dvd and would watch it all the time. It reminds me of long car rides when my dad would set up the portable dvd player and this movie always in the rotation of the dvd book my mom would pack. Also bolt reminds me of my childhood dog, who was just the sweetest, most loving and loyal dog I’ve ever met. Rip Marge, love you so much. It’s not a particularly great film, but I love it for reminding me of simpler, happier times.
This movie always makes me cry ngl. I've always very attached to dogs I've met or owned and when ever shes upset about bolt being missing or bolt willing to possibly die helping her just melts my heart. Dog movies mannnn. The first movie I know for sure I cried at was Marley and me when I was a kid that shit ate me alive and it still does to this day
I just realized a big plot hole with this movie, why didn't they just do a double shoot? Record 2 episodes back to back so the dog wouldn't need to wait to save her and still have a cliff hanger.
This movie came out five years after _101 Dalmatians II_ which had a _very similar_ plot about another superhero dog actor. And that one was named *_Thunderbolt._*
Growing up we only had this movie so I would watch it every day as a kid like no kidding like eating, studying and relaxing with friends or before bed I love this so much
Yea this movie rocks it was so awesome seeing bolt realize you dont need superpowers you just need to do the right thing like superman like wonderwoman cuz that's the real difference. It was a sleeper amazing one overshadowed by like toy movie 3 or wall-e whatever came out but it was in that era where almost every cgi disney movie rocked.
Imagine if events similar to that of the TV Show both Bolt and Penny starred in were to happen in a future Pokémon game and/or a future Pokémon Anime. It would be pretty cool/interesting to see that happen. However the events should not be a Show Within a Show (or in this case shouldn't be a Show within a game and/or anime) and instead of a girl and her super-powered dog it should be a male Pokemon trainer and his main partner Pokémon (along with 5 other Pokemon on hand) who fight the evil forces of some villainous organization lead by the main antagonist. Also that Pokemon trainer should just be a recurring character and not the actual main protagonist, but should meet and befriend the main protagonist.

I still remember picking this movie up from blockbuster and falling in love with it. It will always be my favorite, even if it isn't as objectively good as other movies.
I really love this movie. Not just because of nostalgia, it’s actually really sweet and touching. And the way it depicts Hollywood is scarily accurate. I recommend watching the video “How Bolt is a critique of Disney”. All the info it gave me made my rewatch a lot better.
