The funny thing is, at least in the US, it’s not even possible. CPS visits your house and interviews every household member multiple times before you’re even *approved* to adopt a child. There’d literally be no possible way for the biological child not to know lol.

No trust me, $80 for a book is actually on the more cheaper side. I spend around 80 something on one of my books that my teacher swore up and down that we needed if we were going to pass her class and I didn’t even use it the whole semester. I was so pissed

And then another one of my classes, I didn’t get the book that I ordered from the schools website until six weeks after we started school and we had a test every single week in that class and she was saying that if any of her students didn’t get a book in time for each of these tests then she would post basically a PowerPoint of each chapter so that we could have some sort of study guide before the test but it would only cover like 40% of what’s on the test so it was all just bullshit.

I'm so glad that in the first one, the father actually pointed out that, yes, they did raise their daughter to be like that. Because, yeah. Children learn through observation of the adults around them. If you spoil your kids, they're going to be spoiled. In Australia the average price for text books for schools are usually $120-180 each, even second hand ones are about $80 each... The schools constantly tell us how much we need them for class but we don't even use most of them, they just get stored away and collect dust.
