what gets me is that with that photo album they had a much better way to organically let the audience know that teacher dude is trans. Rosemary's father looks like an aging hippie. Another bad thing about this "anime", it's too slow developing the plot and the villains are mentioned until near the end of the show. The opening and ending themes are also grating.

The shows name is accurate because they were definitely high on some kind of spice when they were creating it

When you realize the best animation in the whole show comes from the ending of them jumping up....and THEN realize they literally copied Azumanga Daioh's opening.

If you want to know why they finished this show, they already had it all done in 2019-2020. However, people mocked it so viciously (perhaps justifiably so) that they shelved it. It's only releasing NOW because Crunchyroll is being sold to Sony, so they gotta clean out all the old rancid meat and slimy vegetables, like High Guardian Spice.

Honestly, I think the animation budget for Kazuma's fingers in Konosuba EP.5 was higher than the budget for this whole series.

The inclusion of gay characters isn't inately bad, but it needs to be done in a way beyond "look oh my god there is A GAY! WOAH!" I may be biased (because I like Owl House), but I think owl house does it pretty well!

Fan Theory: Crunchyroll made this and Ex-Arm so that people won't be so sad when it shuts down during the merge with Funimation. My proof for it likely shutting down: Funimation's parent company bought out Crunchyroll and it all of a sudden made this. I think Ex-Arm was made at least during the talks, if not after. Both are crud and a lot of the good shows are moving to Funimation, hence why I think Crunchyroll is shutting down in favor of Funimation. As far as I'm aware, High Guardian Weed and Ex-Arm are not moved yet and likely won't be. TL;DR: This show was made so that we won't be so upset about Crunchyroll shutting down or something. IDK, there has to be an explanation for this... trash.
