Before I started to watch cartoon reviews on RU-vid, I could have sworn that The Splinter belonged to the first three seasons. The episode has probably the most reruns on German TV.

Fun fact: "Ick" is actually a real life disease that affects fish. Though I'm not sure if this episode was an accurate depiction of how it works

True, although unlike in the episode, it's spelled "Ich," short for Ichthyophthirius multifiliis, the parasite that causes it. And rather than a green slime, its main symptom is white spots.

This is the point where some really bad episodes start showing up. Fun fact: The episodes in the first half have been referred to by former RU-vidr PieGuyRulz as the “Infamous 83 Trilogy”. Because they are the 83rd set of episodes produced and the only set of 3 episodes where all 3 of them were given a “ScumBob” (bad) rating.

@SortaStupid personally it gets annoying at extreme times but most of the time your banter is what makes yall unique and feel like human beings, not to mention its nice to see how much you enjoy the cartoon and yourselves. Def would prefer occasional missing some scenes because you talk over it than just acting robotic like many reactors who just watch the episode and stop existing

I think that was a more recent, but very similar episode (one where people are locked in the Krusty Krab during a widespread infection or some sort). I could be wrong, though.
