whenever i think of teleshopping now, all i remember is sitting in a hotel room at 5am watching an advert on a mattress after being taken there from my house that had just been hit by a massive tornado. At the time i had no idea what had actually happened and just sat there watching it as i had nothing else to do lmao
This whole time Will looks so sad and disgruntled meanwhile James is upbeat and energetic whilst going back and forth with making fun of Will and trying to make him feel better, no bg music or anything honestly a tad bit heartbreaking/hilarious
Maybe fun fact: there's a bunch of old TV shows that would be fully gone from the world (I guess because everything had to be stored on massive film tapes and less successful shows were just thrown away idk) if it wasn't for some old nana that would record literally everything on her TV :')

Teleshopping is still very much a thing because the other night my TV turned on to a jewellery teleshopping channel at 2am COMPLETELY ON ITS OWN and I actually shat myself and thought my room was haunted
teleshopping was prime time entertainment for me as a child, i would wake up at like 6 in the morning to watch the teleshopping even nowadays its quite entertaining because THEY DONT STOP TALKING I HAVE NO CLUE HOW
I always found it interesting lol, I woke up at 2-4 am one day and it was just on, I would watch them one after another. I would try stay up just to watch them after that time
james, in australia, teleshopping channels still exist. there's like a whole channel devoted to it that plays 24/7, and most other channels play the 30 minute long ads for a few hours each night.
Genuinely one of the best nights I've had was one day last year me and my sister was watching teleshopping and we also came across "religion" channels, which caught us so off guard I spent a full hour almost pissing my pants with laughter 😂 there's just something about teleshopping that's so tragic that it's unbelievably funny
Teleshopping are still around james its what i watch when i wake up from a nightmare about you meowing at me while you are on my ceiling neck twisted all the way around like an owl and you just snarl,growl and meow at me and i had to start therapy because of said nightmares

Used to only know you as a youtuber/entertainer and was absolutely taken aback by your talent. Your performance was beyond excellent and you worked the crowd so well!
