Remember to always pack a couple of spare sets of clothes, underwear and sandals especially if you’re going somewhere hot in your carry on. Forget the snacks you can buy them anywhere or buy them at the airport if you must.
Pour les snack for faire attention car certaines aéroport n'accepte pas les fruits, fromage, noix etc de d'autres pays. Bon voyage et profiter de ce beau moment
I learned that lesson the hard way. Was due to speak in DC at Capitol Hill flight got in at 9pm they lost my luggage. I had to be in a meet and greet in the morning at 9am so thank god the hotel concierge had the shuttle bus take me to anything open to get everything ( Target). Ugh bags came 6. Hours before my Capitol visit 🤦♀️
Next time you travel, if you have an iPhone, put an airtag in your checked luggage! Travel hack I've learned & LOVE! Gives me so much peace of mind to know where my luggage is. This can also help the airlines/airports track down your luggage faster and more easily.
Can I just say how wonderful it is to see you brought your car seat on board! This is the safest way to go not only on the flight but to make sure your seat isn’t damaged by the airlines! 🙌🏻
Katey, pregnancy must be easy for you. That is quite a trip being pregnant and with a baby. Glad y'all had such a wonderful time. God bless you all. Thanks for sharing.
After having our checked luggage lost on our 2nd trip to Africa I started packing at least 2 complete changes of clothes in our carry-ons for myself and my husband. We will never got without like that again!
I was wondering when we’d get a video!! Truett is so cute and yes a gerber baby for sure!!! James is so funny here’s the steeple open the door and see all the people lol 😂 I’ve heard that before! That sucks to loose your luggage especially going out of the country that would be a mess!!
I have a home in Rome. I rent it out to people while I'm here in the states. When I was in my 20s I traveled to Israel and Jerusalem. It was an amazing experience seeing where Jesus was all over.
That was amazing! How fun and thank you guys for sharing this with us. What a wonderful time you all must of had. God bless your beautiful growing family. ❤️
What a lovely way to spend Valentines Day! We did a gondola ride in Italy and it was great. The only thing is that I was with my daughter and some folks from her school. I told my husband that the next time I go, I want to go with him. Looking forward to your other adventures from your trip. I’m glad that they found your luggage. Morano and Verano were great too- the colorful houses, the glass factory and so forth. You all had a nice length trip.
Italy is such a beautiful country! Y'all are so blessed you could go! I think my heart stopped for a minute when you said you were just packing just before leaving 😮😂 I personally pack for a trip minimum 3 days before leaving town. And we set up all the electronics stuff, chargers, trash bags, snack cubby, cooler w drinks the night before in our suv. It's way less stressful to organize it all ahead of time instead of last minute. My 2 kids are 18 months and 3 days apart in age. That was a lot of baby gear for both at the same time. As you go down this path of babyhood your mind learns along the way lessons that make your life easier for day to day.
How beautiful the sights are!! You scored high points with that gondola ride for Valentine’s Day. How romantic and sweet was that!! I’m glad you all finally got your luggage. What a blessing to be able to enjoy a trip like that. Stay safe and have fun. Can’t wait to see more video of the trip. Thanks for sharing.
I'm so excited that you were able to celebrate your 2nd Anniversary ❤❤ in Venice! I went to Rome in 1998. My favorite places were: St Peter's Basilica & the Square, the Coliseum, and the Catacombs. I loved being in Rome. It was the Bible come to life. Truett is such a good baby. Can't wait for Part 2.
I was also a little surprised that they didn’t educate themselves about where they were going. But they’re young, and enjoying living in the moment! (But like, who doesn’t know what the catacombs are?)
Never travel anywhere without knowing about the people, culture and geography. There is so much more to Italy then pizza. The history is vast and worth the effort to learn.
Can't wait to see the new vlog and hope you guys have a great Friday and hope you guys have fun in Italy and please stay safe and sound and enjoy your guys vacation
I'm so happy for you both and I miss seeing you guys every week on the show you all had but God bless you all and all your families I love you so much ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
💖 I'm so glad y'all are taking us along on your trip! Italy!♥️wow! Ok first of all, you guys were BLESSED that your baby travelled so well🤗 - a gift from God, for sure😊 Secondly, I think you are putting Jesus on display in how you seem to be adapting and enjoying your time with NO luggage!?!!😳 Oh my word!🤦♀️🤦♂️😬😩🥹
They do have stores to buy toiletries, don’t they? And you have an allowance from the airline when luggage gets lost for incidentals and clothing. Why didn’t you do that? Venice is a beautiful place….So nice you got to experience it together solo!
Ive learned to take a small care on bag just case thay loose your things Im surprised your take a play pack i would leave pack light ive seen people travel small not heavy 😊Have fun
Watching your video was so awesome. I love your family. True ( I know that you don't spell it that way. I'm so sorry) YOUR son sure is a cutie. I'm excited to see your new baby. ❤❤❤
You had two connecting flights? No wonder your flights took so long. I’m Italian. I’ve been to Italy two times. Going back in a few years. I have aunts and uncles and cousins still there.
Are we going to see the in Israël to Katy and Jed ? I love it. We also went to Italy om Valentine’s Day in 2020 and that was also our weddingday in 2002.
Good videoing. I have traveled a bit but have not been to Italy… yet. If it doesn’t happen that’s ok but this gave me a good feeling of being right there. Thank you.
