Join us for a FULL DAY at MegaCon Orlando 2023 at the Orange County Convention Center as we see so much of what there is to offer, and I share some tips with you to make your visit better! We see everything from NASA to a full blown haunted house themed to a comic shop by A Petrified Forest (the first haunted house ever at MegaCon!), a full Star Wars camp with so many favorite characters from the original trilogy and everything in between, including The Mandalorian! We meet SHIELD and Marvel agents, see so much creative cosplay, vendors, artists, just EVERYTHING fun and fandom - plus information to help you like parking, tickets and picking up your badges!! Same, my first was 19 years ago. I can’t believe what it’s like now. I miss those days, though. It was so much easier to check out everything, and you could actually get time with the guests to chat. Nothing like now. 😿

Omg I love this video!! So much fun!! It reminds me of when I went to Miami Con in 2015 and I had a great time. I got to talk to the 8th Doctor, Paul McGann and he was SO damn nice. He told me a story of how he met John Hurt who he got to work with during the 50th Doctor Who Anniversary. It was amazing!

At the 7:15 that kid in the 'Alien' costume is my twelve year old niece. Handmade by her dad, that was her Halloween costume a couple of years ago. She's always a hit at the comic-con shows.

Ah, shoot; if I'd known that NASA was handing out free pins, we would have stopped in! 😂 Our Megacon day(s) were Saturday and Sunday and it was an absolute madhouse both days, but it was worth it for the opportunity to meet the Scream Cast and James McAvoy! So many talented artists, cosplayers, musicians and exhibitors. The saxophone actually made us tear up a little bit, 'Rainbow Connection' was our first dance song at our wedding in 2019. So glad that you got to live your dream and meet Wall-E! It really begs the question, why doesn't Disney offer that meet and greet!? We would move mountains to meet a roaming Wall-E in the parks! 🥹 Thanks for sharing, Jackie!

26:46 I met these guys on Friday!! It was my first time both going to a con and doing a cosplay and my light up vision broke when I tried playing DDR (I was Tartaglia from Genshin). There was a Genshin Meetup in a few minutes and I happen to find these guys. They had a hot glue gun and and helped repair my vision just in time! They were super kind and helpful and I could not be more thankful to them.

I enjoyed watching your video and my favorite part was where Michael Myers was behind Sam and all I did was turn around and just start laughing he didn't run and or anything he just stayed there laughing and smiling one thing about it you never see that or horror movie you always see them run and I seen The Buffy mystery box I would love to know what was inside that box along with all those other mystery Boxes and I also love the part where ghostface was behind you. We got scarves (they’re great in Canada lol) a dog toy, a journal .. I felt like I got my moneys worth. I love surprise bags/boxes and anything with mystery. They’re fun for sure

One quick question. Which day and time was this exactly? I'm so curious about the day and time you entered because the parking fear and seeing the crowds online made us opt out this year. I wish OCCC would build multi-level parking garages ATTACHED on both West and North/South building. It would be so much easier and humane in the unpredictable and hot florida weather. I intentionally got there after noon bc I imagined the morning would be a mad rush as I’ve attended MegaCon before :) just give it a few hours and it’s easy breezy! In past years tho parking was a lot easier. I agree with you, I wish there were attached garages to make things easier. Thank you again!
