Honestly, I think the best time to be on the beach is winter. It's supppperrr quiet as everyone is looking for the sun in summer and you still have local chippys open. A quick trip to Broadstairs (Kent) confirmed this fact. I would love to be there on christmas day although, I do sound like an introvert saying that LOL - Looks lovely there, hope you enjoyed :)

My daughter had her second vaccine today she was very brave she hates needles we had a a burger treat afterwards at a pub on our own away from everyone it was nice.
Aw lovely! Izzy had two jabs today too - one in each leg. She was also brave, but she didn't get a burger treat afterwards though. Oops! I made her pasta instead... I hope your daughter doesn't get too many side effects. x

I’m thinking about it but finding it hard to implement in life with so many commitments that involve a lot of mixing - like my gig I did the other night and having to commute by train for hours to get to it. Luckily there was barely anyone on the train and at our gig, the normal older age range audience was no where to be seen (presumably keeping out of the way of Omicron) and we had all thirty somethings instead. They’d never heard of Gaudete by Steeleye Span, but surprisingly they found it enchanting and it went down really well. Phew!

The second shop on the pier is sadly closed because the owner, Nicola, passed away. She always gave you a warm smile every time you went past. Unfortunately a new owner has taken over who thinks they can charge extortionate prices for even a cup of tea
