We flew from CA to Denver, Colorado to attend the annual Shining Halloween Ball at The Stanley Hotel in Estes, CO. Famously known as the "Shining Hotel". Yes, the Shining Hotel is REAL. This hotel is what inspired Stephen King to write the Shining Novel, which as we all know became a cult classic horror movie. ( This is not the hotel that is featured in the movie). The Stanley Hotel has however been featured in many other movies including one of America's favorite; Dumb and Dumber.
