Welcome to Episode 2 of our Epic Summer Road Trip 2024 series.
Wait… Where is Episode 1?
We decided that this would be the “Pilot” episode, because it is so important to help foster success of small, mom and pops businesses, and Brown Mug Cafe is a multi-generational, small business, that we should all support.
To that end, we prioritized the presentation of our dining experience at Brown Mug. It’s still Episode 2, you’re just getting it before Episode 1. Call us silly, right?
The amazing staff and food, as well as the excellent New Mexico-influenced flavors that dance in your face, from start to finish, went well beyond our expectations. We were referred to this eatery by Bobbie, an employee at the Standin’ on the Corner shop, 3 blocks away on Historic Route 66. Our visit was totally altered and we can’t wait to get back to Winslow, to take a deeper dive into town, its food, and its history beyond the above referenced Eagles hit.
