Hey retals If you do join the dark side, get a ninja 400 for your first bike it was mine. It’s really good! Good amt of power, and a great bike to learn on, you won’t be hunched over 24/7 either it’s comfy. Then you can upgrade after a season of riding or 2. Then you can upgrade to a 600cc+

For a motorcycle, you should look into the brand new Honda CB500/CB500F. I would go the F model because I love the naked frame style of the bike, but that engine would be a perfect beginner start. Not too much power, but not too little power. I owned a CBR300, and I loved it. I just got used to the power really fast. A 300 could be a perfect start too, ride that for a summer and then sell it and get a 600. A 600 is a whole other league though.

I wholeheartedly endorse getting a motorcycle! I've been riding for almost 10 years, and it's how I go relax and clear my mind. You should take a beginner safety class first. They go through the basic of riding, and often put you on a smaller bike in a parking lot to practice the basic skills. A safety class is a great way to test the waters and see if you would actually enjoy it!
