I usually watch these a couple months before I go to Disney all the way till the night before so looks like this is what I’m gonna be binge watching for the next couple months
Earlyyyyyy!!!! Its a xmas miracle 😍🎄🎉 I'll be going to the party for the First Time(!!!) so this is a perfect intro to this year's party!! Thank you AJ and the DFB Squad!
We were at MVMCP on Tuesday night. I wish I would have had this video before we went! I wanted the kakamora float but when I passed where was supposed to be I didn't see it advertised or anybody walking around with one so I figured they weren't doing them yet. Such a bummer! But we did enjoy the cookies the pretzels the free drinks and our favorite ride of all was the Christmas Space Mountain! I think Christmas Space Mountain was better than regular Space Mountain and we went on it three times! The wait lines when we were there were anywhere from five minutes to 35 minutes for Seven Dwarfs. Perfect!
Was so glad we got to see Tinker Bell during this fire works show! Last few times we have watched the fire works at magic kingdom she wasn’t there. It’s so awesome to watch the kids as she flys over head!
I’m going to Disney in 3 weeks and we are doing the Christmas party Saturday 7th! I’m so excited, my boyfriend bought the tickets for my Christmas present because I only have gone to Disney for cheer before!
We just went last Monday and had a great time! Got to ride all the rides we wanted to with very little wait. Just a couple tips we mixed the Christmas cookie milkshake with the hot chocolate they give out for free and it was very good. We tried all the special treats and our fav was the Kakamora Float! Go ahead and get two so you don’t have to go back like we did! Have a great time!!
Sorry to be a downer but theres no christmas party on the 7th. Its just a regular day. I specifically picked that day so I can enjoy the long hours of magic kingdom. Then we will be back for the party on the 10th
Nice vid! I had some ideas that I and some other followers would LOVE to see :) 1: favorite and least favorite Disney World/ Disneyland rides- I've wanted this for forever! 2: WORST restaurants for vegan food at Disney World- I'm vegan and loved the "Best Restaurants For Vegan/Vegetarians, and would love to see its counterpart. 3: Worst food items you've ever tried- a warning for your watchers, lol 4: This would be so legendary- RANKING every resort from favorite to least favorite, I would lose it if I saw this! 5: A ranking of all the lands- Fantasyland, Pandora, Asia, Galaxy's Edge, Tomorrowland, Main Street, Liberty Square, Future World, Toy Story Land, Dinoland, Discovery Island, Frontierland, Adventureland, (anything I forgot except for the Hollywood Studios lands- they would probably all be at the bottom because they aren't that unique, except for TSL and GE. 6: Ranking different resort restaurants 7: Ranking resort pools! 8: Your favorite and least favorite small places to see characters that don't tend to garner crazy long lines, (Thotful Spot, Meet Gaston, that kind of thing) 9: Disney World/land rides you'll never ride again 10: Epcot showcase lands ranked 11: Food that is only Instagram-worthy- not very good though. 12: Attractions that took place of other attractions that were better before 13: Character meals ranked! 14: Best cast member experiences you've had 15: Worst cast member experiences you've had 16: Restaurants getting better at DW/DL 17: Restaurants getting worse at DW/DL 18: Best disney attraction SONGS!!!! 19: Your view on the Parkeology Challenge (pleaseseee) 20: Best first date attractions! 21: Rides that are much better at night I hope you take these suggestions to heart- They'd be SO cool to see! Love you, AJ!
I enjoy the party since we don’t typically buy tickets for the whole trip. It is a nice price for a “park ticket” day with our DVC discount. As DVC members, we got into the Halloween party at 2 PM this year. So I would definitely check into that option. Since we have teenagers, they usually don’t make it to a park before noon anyway. They love shutting down the park after midnight.
Brian yeah in the beginning of december to the middle it’s nationals for cheer and dance so there’s soooo many cheerleaders there, and one of the nights usually it’s at animal kingdom it’s a night for all of them and other people can go it’ll just be extremely crowded. so if you’re there i’d try to find out when the giant party is to avoid that specific park that night:)
We did this. It was nightmare. Total gridlock in front of castle. Since that party, my husband and son in law refuse to go to go back to Disney Plus day people do not leave. They hang around Main Street to watch parade. Maybe they have updated since 2017, it was a mess
I was eating in the castle when the fireworks happened, at Cinderella’s royal table. We watched the fireworks works from the inside and from the outside on a live stream. It was quite the experience!
We went on Nov 11 and it was wonderful we got to do some rides we normally would just pass by due to the lines but we got to ride last night. We also got to meet Peter Pan and Captain Jack (a first for us). I went to Guest Services and was told there are not Sno cones at every party and if they are out it would be later in the season. We liked this party better than the MNSSHP. It was a happier feeling and lots of folks were singing along with the music that was playing.
Great video! Fellow Texan here, and looking forward to going to the party this coming Friday and transforming myself for a few hours into the Cookie Monster!🍪🎅🏻
I was there for the first and very wet MVMCP this year. We still had a blast, ate too many cookies but missed out on those season special treats. That was because it was raining soo much we didn't get a chance to just wander leisurely too busy running from cover to cover. Oh well I guess it is just a reason to go back another year at this time.
Thanks for the gluten-free info on the Olaf treat! Yer a real pal, AJ! I loved the gluten-free Yule Log at the Party last year. I guess it's not there any more. Not that it matters, as I won't be doing the party this year. BTW: The Party is pricey, but awesome!
The rain completely ruined it for me. I had so many expectations! It was a once in a lifetime kind of experience for me since I live far away from the US and it's way too expensive. It felt rushed, unorganized, the cookies were soggy and the park under that heavy amount of rain felt almost sad. I know I shouldn't complain but it just broke my heart.
I am trying to determine if you need a separate park ticket in addition to the party ticket. It sounded like you need one from the video. And what about the Halloween party? Is it the same for that one?
Do you think they will have many of these items next year? I'm visiting with my husband, son and mum and we will be there for the first party! I'm so excited!
We wanted to attend it but it costs way too much along with park tickets, hotel room and plane... But it seems cool and does anybody know if Disney + will be included with hotel rooms for the stay? By the way I love your videos AJ❤
Eléa Brodeur I work at a resort and will ask! I’m going to guess no because even cast members don’t get a discount at all. I work at a moderate and can’t imagine the executives of it doing that for guests, but perhaps at a deluxe
Not everybody will stay at the parks all say. I watch lots of Tv. On vacation. When we where at the parks. So I wouldn't be Supprised but I don't think they would because They would have to put that on all the Tv's So you should by Disney+ before you go if you have kids then you would know who important Disney+ would be.
Note: For the Fireworks you probably don't want to be right up next to the castle, because it'll block most of the view, you probably want to be back by Casey's Corner.
this is awesome seeing all the awesome stuff and activities you can do at Disney World. last time I comment on another Disney video. this person said there's not Disneyland in Orlando but I wrote Disney World. the Disney video I watched was from another Disney RU-vid channel. the food was the best of the video. thanks for a awesome video.
Thank you! Great video! But...... I have a couple of questions: 1. Are there any sit down restaurants open during the party or can you get a reservation during the changeover time ? 2. Which rides are closed and why? Thanks for everything! You guys are GREAT!
my family and i will be at the xmas party this coming friday night; looking extremely forward to being at the party; i always look forward to some festive xmas fun at the MK; SEE YA REAL SOON DISNEY WHICH I MEAN STARTING THURSDAY! : ) by the way AJ, i'm from texas too; what a small world it is, lol! getting so ready to get the heck out of dodge here in texas, ITS BEEN SO COLD AND TOO COLD FOR ME, LOL! ready for some warmer weather especially being with my family celebrating the holiday season at what uh THE BEST PLACE ON PLANET EARTH CALLED DISNEY WORLD! : )
We are leaving my home state the 23rd of December and we are going to animal kingdom on Christmas Eve and on Christmas Day we are going to magic kingdom
Just fyi incase you've never been there in christmas. Its mindblowing busy. I'm a HUGE disney nut and it's horrible. I went in the past and vowed to never go back. Its packed arm to arm in almost every spot of the kingdom, and there are large waits for every ride, including the ones that typically arent long waits. It's one of only a few days that the crowd calendars categorize as a "black" day, as in it's the max level of busy. Food for thought. Hope you have a blast though.
Everybody is going to the MK on Christmas Day!!! It is crazy, but if you’re going to do it , get there very early. That day the park will probably close in the morning since it will reach maximum capacity very quickly.
I was there the first night as well .. I am still damp from the rain. One thing I didn't like was constantly being approached by a posse of electric torch carrying cast members who kept asking to see our special bands indicating that we were paid attendees. In a one hour period the had us raise our arms to show the bands. It was annoying and distracting. I felt like i was attempting to cross from east to west Germany ("show us your papers"). Prior year's XMAS party attendance did no have the same checkpoint-charlie.
How do the fireworks compare to Happily Ever After? Trying to decide if attending Happily ever after on the few nights it’s offered (along with the crowds) is worth it. Or if MVMCP fireworks is equivalent enough to make it worth it to just view party fireworks and skip Happily Ever After.
Do you know if the party magic band will be sold in the stores before, or on days where the party doesn't take place? Or are you only able to purchase them during the actual party with or without a ticket? Thanks!
You can get into the park (Walt Disney worlds magic kingdom) at 4pm with a Christmas party ticket even if your not a annual park holder or seasonal one?!? Thanks !
Guys, still no mention of the food at the table service restaurants during the event, what gives? Has anyone eaten at these yet? Trying to plan for next year, thanks.
stokedonrunning personally I would not waste your party time at a table service restaurant. If it’s that important to you to eat say at Be our guest get reservations at 4 pm so you are finished eating before the party starts. We are eating at the plaza before the party starts on the night we go to MVMCP. So we can ride rides until the party starts.
I don't think you made it clear on the tickets. Yes, MCP ticket is extra but is it necessary to also have a regular park ticket? If so, then you can be in the park until 6:00pm and being able to enter on an MCP ticket at 4:00pm seems unrelated. Sorry, I'm confused.
If you have the party ticket and no regular admission, you can enter at 4:00 pm and then as it gets closer to the party time, you get a wristband to signify that you’re able to stay for the party (I believe you may be able to get the wristband right at 4, but I’m not positive)
Can you please let us know all of the characters and where they are for MVMCP. I know you mentioned a few but for example is Judy and nick from zootopia there this year?
Does anyone know how I can find out which of the snacks are snack credit eligible? I'm crossing my fingers for that vanilla orange treat at Sunshine Tree Terrace!
