Epic...An overly used word to describe something that creates a lasting impression. An unforgettable memory causing a new perspective on life.
To say this day, this trail, the views, and the people were Epic can't even begin to describe this day. Epic needs some kind of modifier to even come close to describing the experience, and I just don't have the words to improve on epic. To me, This was the day that all other days of my life will be compared to. This is Ruby falls.
The day was amazing. It was t shirt weather in the snow and the sun was shining bright.. the snow was deep and challenging with a sand like texture when you broke through the crust. There was open water in spots, but not yet too deep to cross and then there was the frozen falls, in an aqua blue, surrounded like a horseshoe with huge snow capped mountains. What else could one ask for?
