Realistically they should have AD in A tier and move everyone else down a tier. The argument really comes down to how far is AD from the others considering you can say hes top 10 or so in the league where as all the other "A" players are closer to 25-40

I agree with Don TBH, there is a massive difference between Embiid and Jokic, and then AD. I'd still put AD in S cause I think he's solidly above Bam, but AD is a 2nd option on a mid Lakers team, whereas the top two are the 1st options on really good squads. Them acting like Don is crazy for his take is wild though, that debate whilst funny to watch, was annoying to see, cause Don didn't deserve that amount of shit for a decent if not good take.
I enjoy the streams, you guys have a fun and enjoyable discourse on both the pods and streams but I do enjoy the specific reaction to recent news on the livestreams where the pods educate me a little more about basketball. Keep pushing it.
I think the problem with the AD debate isn’t that he isn’t S-tier (which I think is true) but rather that Chet and Wemby aren’t A-tier. Isaac kept resorting to the “You’re really gonna put AD in a tier with two rookies!?” When, really, those rookies didn’t belong in that tier to begin with. Wemby and Chet are playing really well, at like a fringe all-star level, but if they were in their 6th season playing at this level, people wouldn’t be as enamored with them as they are now.

Issac was right about AD not being on the same tier as everyone in A, but Don was right about him not being at the same tier as Embiid and Jokic. Jokic and Embiid are clear top 3 players in the league and they have 100% seperated themselves from AD with being top 2 in MVP voting for the last 3 years.
i think ranking AD just comes as to how much value he brings cause hes a player having an S-tier year and judging by whos in A-tier, AD should be ranked S-tier because players in A-tier are just no where near ADs level of talent. but when you have jokic and embiid in S-tier, it changes the narrative because they are both once in a generational players and AD is just not on the same level which is why you would want him in A-tier. realistically though, id still put AD in S-tier because hes far better then those in A-tier but is still worse than those in S-tier but the gap between the two imo shows that AD is more of an S-tier caliber player than an A-tier caliber player

Don is so right tho, Davis is nowhere near the offensive producer Jokic and Embid are. Defense can't be enough to put you in S Tier when you struggle to score double digits in points half the time. That means you don't have as much impact on your team as those 2, meaning I wouldn't put them anywhere near the same tier. Top of A is correct.
I love the livestreams especially for news and fan interactions. I dont always participate because the timing is not good for me to join live but i always watch to see the nba news ive missed and the atrocious takes of some of my fellow crayon eaters.

I am a Lakers fan and I agree with Don AD should be in A. Though he is a good defender and a rebounder but his offense is inconsistent both in the regular season and in the playoffs.

I agree with Issac and Mo about AD but i see where Don is coming from. To put AD in the same tier and chet and wemby is too disrespectful to AD's 2 way dominance and playoff success, but to say he is on the same level as embiid or Jokic is also not fully correct either. They honestly needed to make a tier in between for AD.

I understand both sides of the argument and in that scenario I would also have put AD in S tier but this situation could have been easily been fixed by putting AD as the only A and lowering everybody else a tier or by creating a new SS tier for Embiid and the Joker. Putting AD at the same level as 2 rookies is ridiculous but there are levels to this an he is not there with Jokic an Embiid. You could also argue putting Bam and AD in the same tier.

Donovan gotta understand that he cant use playoff failures as a way to distance Joel Embiid from AD as a player. Embiid is a frequent 2nd round exit. I understand they are better but the distance between Embiid and AD is not greater than the distance between chet and AD
honestly slightly siding with Don here, but the best way is to just put everyone down 1 tier adn put AD alone in A. the difference between Jokic Embiid and AD vs AD and Victor Chet Bam is the same to me. I would die in a hill that I would rather put AD in same tier as Victor and Chet rather than putting AD in the same tier as Jokic and Embiid, HE CANT EVEN BEAT 39 YEAR OLD LEBRON as a no 1 option....
