for me the most challenging thing in these days was emptiness and the lake of ideas about what to make! but eventually the challenge became a reason to boost my capabilities further and try to make more complexe CGI that one day was impossible for me. it's funny also to watch how some ppl are doing now

This is what I really miss from this video. Photography is such a strange thing that you can do almost everywhere, almost in every circumstances. Now, constrained within the walls, I try all kind of (sometimes really stupid) ideas with my gear like taking pictures of "impossible" things, like smoke blown into water, using flashes in unusual way, etc. For me, I just jumped into large format business last year and didn't have enough time to go deep, this is a good time to discover the 8×10" VDS field camera and practice its ways. But there are so many things. Playing with stop motion, photographing thru different materials... Guys, keep your creative power alive! Did you ever try shooting a bouncing ball when it is distorted in the bottom of its path? Did you try to create something like Edward Steichen's Spectacle Butterfly?

That was an amazing video. I love that you just capture the reality as it is. We are lockdown in the UK for 3 weeks minimum, only allowed out for one walk/run a day or to get food/meds. It is so surreal like I am living my own "I am legend" movie. But I have noticed some positive things. The roads are a lot quiet, the air feels and smells fresher. Also I feel a lot less stressed. No daily rush to the office. Life does feel a little bit better right now.

As I said to Matti and Gene, this is worldwide, in an odd way, I feel closer to the world. We are all in the same odd reality. I feel connected in a really odd way they I've never felt before...I'm 52 and never experienced anything like this. Even in the dark days of the cold war, nothing felt like this. OK so the cold war was a constant feeling that we were 4 mins from anihilation, but this is different....sort of surreal....like a dream.... I think we have an opportunity, and indeed a responsibility, to document this as it happens, ordinary lives made significant through our creative skills. Never have we had the tools, opportunity, or audience to make this accessible to future generations for record and education. Keep it up, keep sharing. Makes us all feel part of this global family in a time of shared burden. Here in the UK we are on the brink of total shut-down. This is our window on our fellow passengers of spaceship earth.
