I honestly think Trident might be canned regardless of what the investigation ends up showing. (Not saying I agree with it, I just really think they will) The amount of negative publicity Jagex has received out of this situation, especially is it related to a moderator dating the biggest DMing leader and even contributing to their CC (Biggest RWT content) outside of the Oda situation. Jagex is notorious for only caving to the general players requests when it effects them financially. All this negative publicity as well as their history with MASSIVELY corrupt Jmods might have their hands tied as to whether or not they could keep him if they desired to. Regardless of Evidence the majority of the public will never trust or support him. Him being the leader of the Anti cheat team while bots are the worst they've ever been is just the cherry on top.

Asmon you're a freaking legend! i've been watching you for years and my main MMO has been runescape and the way you covered this subject so fairly and accurately makes me think about how accurate you cover all other MMO subjects in other games. you are as legit as they get and i have gained way way more respect for you. TYSM for helping out our small community, you're a legend for real.

It honestly blows my mind how horrible Jagex is structured. They put no money into support. They have ZERO support when it comes to account/false-bans. I quit playing 2 years ago because my main (2k+) was falsely banned. Literally zero mechanism for me to reach out and get help. Zero support.

Thanks for supporting oda asmond, I’m a long time runescape player and this isn’t the only time we seen corruption from mods, I also watched tons of you content and play wow a and we really needed someone like you to help stand up for us players

You know, I remember spending nearly a whole weekend, Friday.....Saturday......Sunday.... Just leveling my woodcutting up from 98 to 99. This game lol, wish I could have that weekend back.

Sad to say that I’ve kept my osrs sub throughout lots of drama but this took the cake. I finally canceled my 5 year subscription until this is sorted out. Completely unacceptable from my point of view. Thanks for covering this.

I had a runescape account years ago. I was level 68 took 3 years of very hard grinding. I made my coin honestly and was a real grinder. Got scammed more my share of times...but on my way to top tier free to play and the only reason I was not member because I was 14 and did not own a credit card or debit card. I was extremely dedicated, and Runecape deleted my account. My user name was Cluker3. I was truly devastated. I stopped playing PC games for 10 years because of it. I still think about it from time to time. It still stings. Long live Cluker3, the last original 11 year old grinder.

The lingering and underlying issue, is that players will see the corruption and not wish to invest there time into the game/company. My thoughts on Tarkov has recently changed due to new RMT rules. Not because i use RMT but that i may get flagged as an RMT seller for just trading items with friends. So why should i invest my time into a game which can false ban players based off allegations alone, with zero chance of appealing it..

Quit WoW for runescape many years ago, appreciate you covering this topic. Theres been a few corrupt jmods as runescape gold is/was more valuable than Venezuelan $, but a majority of the mods are good people. Always a few bad apples when money gets involved.
