This is the last video in a 3-part series that focuses on aqueous acid-base chemistry. This video focuses on weak acids and bases, and I go over the relationship between Ka, Kb, and Kw, as well as some calculations. Sit back and relax - and learn some chemistry! These videos were made by request. Let me know what else would be helpful for you.

I'm enjoying this series immensely, I haven't had a formal Chemistry class in 40+ years, and I don't believe I ever had an explanation of pH. Thank you!

Isn’t it interesting? At some point while teaching it - not that long ago - I realized that it’s not explained often; it’s just presented as a given!

@@ASMRChemistry I thought it was just me 🙂, I didn't do chemistry at college.

Love these acid-base chemistry videos so much! This used to be a topic that I found so difficult, so it makes me so happy that I can easily follow along while I relax LOL ❤❤❤

I love your videos so much! I wish all my lectures were like this. I know we can’t cover as much content in this style, but I have more “aha” moments during your videos and it actually makes studying in the evening not feel so miserable. Thank you thank you!

thank you for another lovely video ❤ i am learning about alkyl halide reactions in organic chemistry 1 and i was wondering if that is something you could talk about? :)

You’re so welcome! And, to answer your question, yes. I have organic reactions on my list of topics, and there are a LOT of them, which means a lot of videos! I’ll make sure alkyl halides are near the top of the list, though! Thank you for the request.😃
