Till now you guys are the only reactor I've seen who understood beom seok's character, the reason behind his behaviour, his traumas and the trauma reactions.
People understand him 💀 and everyone knows the reason behind his behavior and everyone knows he got trauma, but that don't men we gotta like him. Yall think just because reactors don't like him that equals they dont understand him, that's not the case it's not fking rocket science everyone knows the reason why he did what he did but that don't mean ppl are gonna like him, just because we understand the reason why he's doing what he's doing doesn't make what he's doing justified or good. You can understand a character and still dislike them. Beomseok is a bad person, PERIOD. Using himself trauma to try to justify why hes doing what he's doing is stupid, because guess what there's plenty of ppl who have been in the exact same situation as him, but they aint going out killing people. Yall seriously need to STOP using trauma as an excuse to justify characters being shitty. Sieun and Suho TRIED to help him, they tried to ask him if he was okay, they tried to comfort him and HE'S the one who chose to push them away, HE'S the one who chose to bottle up his emotions and not tell them what's going on, HE'S the one who decided not to communicate, that's ALL on him. And those fking pity tears he tried to do when he damn near killed Suho was pathetic, I have sympathy for him when it comes to his father and his father can burn in hell but I do NOT have sympathy for him trying to murder and turning his back on the TWO people who actually were trying to be there for him, here's a tip: holding beomseok accountable for his actions and not justifying and coming up with excuses for his actions does NOT equal ppl don't understand them, it just means he doesn't get brownie points and it means that he doesn't get to use his trauma as an excuse to hurt others
in korea it's quite common for bullies to pretend to be "friends" with the victim and one of the ways they do this is by having their arms around their shoulder, which explains Beomseok's reaction to Suho doing it. Bullies kinda have this "we're friends, we're just playing around" excuse when someone tries to call it out
i LOVEEE how you guys are deeply analysing beomseok and understanding the complexities of his character. And i love Suho to bits, but it is true that he lacks empathy a little (it wasnt his fault of course, he didnt deserve what happened to him at ALL and i still cry about it months later but yeah)
I'm sorry but you sound dumb, how tf is Suho supposed to have empathy when he TRIED to ask Beomseok what was going on and Beomseok decided to not tell him and push him away?! How is it Suhos fault that Beomseok is the one choosing to push them away? You can't blame Suho for having a lack of empathy when it was Beomseok who decided to not tell them what was going on and to just ignore his only two true friends and go hang out with the people who tormented Sieun. Its on BEOMSEOK for choosing not to communicate when they were literally trying to ask him if he needed help
i feel like for some ppl it's kind of "easy" to blame the girl for bumseok's actions at first bc she was kind of included in the group all of a sudden and we're not as invested in her character as the others (she's more of a plot device character) but she really did nothing wrong, i mean she barely knows bumseok. the only thing she did wrong was picking up his phone and although she obviously didn't do it with bad intentions, she shouldn't have done it but other than that she really has done nothing wrong. bumseok's a pretty complex character, i'm glad you guys are understanding him so far... sooho is my favorite character as well but he's not as perceptive of bumseok's emotions as sieun. he's a really nice guy but he is a bit more straightforward and less empathetic than sieun. like you guys said he knows something is not right with bumseok but he doesn't understand it the way sieun does.
Scarlet heart ryeo is an all rounder imo, it has romance, comedy, action, drama, friendship, thrill, time travel, and so. It's one of my favourites! Please give it a watch guys, y'all will surely enjoy it.
Exactly I also thought going in that direction where they get into beef with the gangsters and all but this took a way different turn which was really unpredictable. Loved tat about the show.
the girl doesnt like the main guy, she doesn't like any of them, flirting is just in her nature. i do it for fun too and personally i wouldnt do it with someone i actually like lmao. if anything she's probably in her 20s already and the boys are high schoolers so yeah and honestly the entire show's fandom agrees that the main guy and athletic guy (sieun and suho) are queercoded as hell, you can even see how many unspoken words they exchange in a particular scene in episode 7, and even in the way sieun looks at suho
@@kyndra2957 not everyone thinks they're gay but not everyone is smart enough to pick up on subtext either. even these reactors (and a few others) themselves said they got some vibes, though they dismissed them as jokes (heteronormativity, but i don't blame them) you're free to believe whatever you want though! :)
One thing about beomseok’s character is that he always uses money to create relationships, but doesn’t realize the difference between people who don’t care about his money and people that do. An example is he doesn’t realize suho does like him as a friend and even offers to pay for their meals in this episode instead of beomseok paying like he has been. It’s interesting how this sort of happens a lot in the series. The characters know how they express vulnerability, love, and care, but don’t know how to recognize it from other people.
After this drama i have suggestions for u guys If u want a rom com then *business proposal* If u want to watch a mystery action type then Vincenzo and Big mouth(Both are my fav) And lastly Romantic one then The king eternal monarch is also good Hope u can watch all of them in the future 😂
