Truth to itself. But point of view rape itself could be changed , would say more expanded than their conversation. Promiscious look or behaviour can lead certainly to bad things, especially if sides are intoxicated, but statistically more rape would happen from men lets say in this example that are sexually, emotionally deprived to the other side that probably can be someone more close to them and kinda trapped into situation. They just said as always people say most shocking scenario that frightens someone of the way they could possibly behave. The rape is an act of anger and disrespect toward human, no one should take any reason for accountability on that to level of asking himself am i kinda fault . Only since Andrew has been canceled I have actually started paying attention to whatever he says. What he said in this video is true and I agree with him as a woman and speaking from my OWN perspective. I believe why some women feel to stop men doing bad things they need to rewire men is because they think men are able to do things that they can't. I'm a man, i don't walk outside alone at night. I don't wear expensive nice things to places i'm not sure of. I carry some type of thing to help protect me knife, gun, pepper spray, brass knuckles. Anything that can help me get an advantage or at least even the playing field as much as possible in the chance that someone does try to hurt me or rob me or something like that. Yes women get raped and men don't nearly as much as so you have a added risk as a women, but intelligent men still avoid all the same things as women because its not about being smart of man or women, but being an intelligent human. The more time anyone spends doing more risky thing the more likely something bad will happen. Jobs are a great example of this. You get paid more doing underwater welding then normal welding. Underwater welding has more risks to you being hurt or killed. Does it mean you will die or get hurt? No it doesn't, but the risk is higher and so anyone doing underwater welding probably knows someone who passed doing it within their first 5-10 years working.

Most of the time its at night at a gas station or conveyance store and it happens to both men and women. If you think for a second that a man is by default scared of another you're crazy. The thing that would make a man looking to rob someone or hurt someone fearful of another man is size. MOST men aren't big. Most men are 5,8 - 6.0. Meaning the majority of men are not intimidating and even they are if someone wants to stab or shoot you, you could be 8 ft tall. It doesn't matter. It doesn't make your skin harder to cut or shoot. Plus, it lowers inhibitions and can put you in a blackout state in which you are conscious as far as others can tell, but may do things you wouldn't normally do. As the oldest male of 3 kids being raised by a single mother I told my two younger siblings that they should always be aware and have something to protect themselves. When my sister graduated school and started working and going off on her own I gave her a knife to carry at all times. When I get into a relationship with someone I'm gonna do the same. I'm gonna buy her a gun, a knife and teach her how to throw punches, kicks and where to target a man's weak points to use in self defense even against me. I remeber having this argument with a girl (who believes feminist ideology but doesn't consider herself a feminist) and she just could not take accountability for anything. Her theory was that women should walk around alone at night half naked and somehow no one will bother them if men were taught not harras women and they were punished more severely for it. I was trying to tell her that it's not a practical solution but she couldn't get it through her thick skull. If I was a woman I wouldn't walk around alone at night. Period.

Sorry you had to go through that. I'd have asked your friend if she thought it was equally as safe if a man were to go out at night, especially to an unfamiliar or unsafe part of town, half naked or not. The truth of the matter is, some risks should not be stupidly taken, as the risks outweigh the benefits. And that goes for both genders in today's world, although historical women were taught this more and it is perfectly reasonable and rational... for everyone! Btw, I'm a woman too, not that it matters because common sense is common sense.

What he said is what I've been saying to my friends, family colleagues for years!!! He's totally correct, 'learn and implement mitigation techniques wherever possible. ' not saying it's easy but at a rough guess if a person is going to unreasonably andcontinuously blame others without taking account of their own actions too.. Well, we'll end up with men or in general 'public ' unable to protect themselves,let alone someone or something they care for/about... Some could use last 2 or so yrs could be used as an example...

They mostly all say that they should be able to go whereever, whenever they want, with no personal liability on what happens to them. Your absolutely right!! I was edited when I was 11, so I know it's real. But a majority of females can take them selves out of the situation. I raised my daughter, to never depend on every guy knowing not to rape or abuse a female. So don't put yourself in that situation. To bad more people can't see it this way!
