@@notafrog2040 it's just not enjoyable to play a tank that's made so many sacrifices to be heavily armoured only for some time travelling RAT to pen it with HEATFS and other innovations that it was never meant to face!
This doesn't work on the T26E5, it looks like it should but the actual armour model is angled more way more than what you see. Check it when you next log on. This didn't use to be the case when it was added, Gaijin quietly and quickly angled the lower plate's armour model to "balance" it.
tbf he was using the 90 and not the 76 which is more common for 5.7 cuz of the A3. Also, pretty sure the 88s APCR from 100 meters can pen the Pershing because I did it without messing around with them weakspots.
a good thing to keep in mind with super pershings is that, if you cannot penetrate the tank itself, to disable the tanks ability to shoot you, is shooting the elevation mechanism on the top of the turret, as it is easy to see and hit, and normally they will run away once their elevation mechanism is broken, meaning you can then close the distance or find a better angle to shoot them
OBJ-268 with APHE capable of goinght through the UFP of every single one of these tanks and overpressuring them: "What weakspots? The entire tank is a weakspot!"
@alexmaximus9134 4.7 ISU-152 uses the same round(APHE BR-540B) except 100m/s slower, can deal with anything to the UFP all the way to (including) 6.3. Only problem after that is 6.7 but the 250mm HEAT round can deal with that. And also there is SU-152 at 4.3 that also uses BR-540B, but doesn't have HEAT
The weakspots for the pershing/T series tanks are WAY easier than they seem in this video. Every single one of them have very weak lower front plates. With the tiger 1's pzgr funny round, its a garenteed kill on any of these tanks if they're not angled. Just remember to NEVER shoot the middle of the lower plate, always always always shoot for the right or left most corners. Even with aphe rounds like what the panther uses that only have like 13g of tnt, the ammo is stored far anough forward in the pershings that you're very likely to set one of them off & ammo rack them. The lower front plate corners are far and away a more reliable weak spot than trying to shoot the t26e5's tiny turret ring, or the volumetric hell that is the mg port on the t29/t34/t30
another weak spot on the T34, T30 and T29 is the left and right on the lower front plate, they are at an easier angle to penetrate im not sure if its the same on the pershings but they look about the same
I remember looking in the armor analyzer on American 6.7 tanks and realizing most of them have a weak spot not mentioned in this video; the sides of the lower front glacis, close to the tracks. I do remember it acting a little different on a Pershing vs a T29. Also IIRC there might’ve been one vaguely around that BR (could be a 6.3) where it was the inverse.
I know of those spots but the reason why I don't recommend them is just from the post pen damage can be very hit or miss. Specially with a gun like the panthers 75mm, Its better to take out the gun then go for the MG port its very unlikely you hit the ammo from that shot and then also its not hurting any of the turret crew, so the T34 could still fire back.
@@kronk9418 literally the entire US segment of this video is the guy struggling to hit volumetric hell pixel weakspots on immobile targets at point-blank range. The US techtree is genuinely the most handheld in this game.
@@kronk9418 what are u on lilbro almost half the entire video is about us tanks and how ur better off shooting the barrel cus theres nothing u can do to them lmao have u even watched the video? even when he is shooting at actual weakspots it takes like 4-5 attempts to get a shot in (on target vehicles that dont move btw) there is a secret and semi-reliable spot u can shoot us heavies but just going by this video it p much presents heavy tanks as indestructible
thank you so much for listening to our feedback❤ that was exactly what we were asking for in the t34 video. that only one or two of all those t34 were relevant to the person watching and that's the ones in their br ranges. much love❤
I scrolled through all of the comments, and nobody at all has mentioned the easiest shot to make on the American T Series, the machine gun ports on the turret, especially with the 88, can be penetrated reliably and nearly always one shot the thing, even at longer ranges if it just pens the first plate and detonates, it can overpressure the crew I find it much more rewarding to hit those shots too instead of going for something super cheap like the hull machine gun port
As a regular 6.7 player and USA main, I cannot thank you enough for this video! I struggle fighting the Tiger 2s regularly especially the Sla. 16 version. God bless you man!
@@DawgIVLife It took 5 shots to kill it through the other spot in ideal test conditions at 100 meters. That's long enough that even if you shot his gun, he would be able to repair and shoot back. Even if the mg port is bushed up, it would be faster to mg off the bushes and then shoot the mg port than try to hit that pixel weak spot on the turret.
@@russman3787in perfect conditions it can be easy to hit him if he’s standing still but imagine shooting a moving target with a bush covering the weak spot
The jagtiger and tigers can be one-shot through the sides of the lower front plate(like the hetzer) with the is2(or any 122) and jagtiger, the t95 and t29 can do it too but it often ricochets. Even with smaller aphe its worth shooting to take out the transmission so you can hit the mg port or flank.
Quick tip as a side note. If you are a german main, do not play 5.7 The lists of benefits is bigger than the list of disadvanges playing 6.0 instead. You get 2 tigers and enemy wise theres not a big diffrence. Sure you can match against 7.0 but theres nothing really diffrent from 6.7 because of the lack of vehicles there
Hey man, I've been seeing these type of vids you're dishing out. Love it, it helps both us veteran players and especially the new players the most. I know this video takes alot of time to make so I just wanted to prais you for the effort you put into these, thank you!
The most reliable weakspot on every single one of the US tanks is lower left and right sides of the hull. It doesn't always work because volumetric is still a thing in 2025, but it's better than rolling the dice on the MG port or shooting the driver's hatch (literal volumetric hell). We see it in this video aswell, it's almost impossible to reliably hit them even when they're sitting still and not shooting at you - I wouldn't recommend going for those in real matches.
I always take APCR with some guns if the HEAT round isn't available. Anything before the M36B2 and ahead of the 75mm Shermans will have some APCR even though the post pen is garbage, at least it pens.
@@thekingghidorah93 Yea its public just takes time to learn the software and also can be quite annoying to make the missions sometimes because it still is software from 2010s that loves to crash and just be slow. But here is a link to it: wiki.warthunder.com/War_Thunder_CDK
The pershings and t series tank have a very weak low front plate.. you can easily pen the low front plate with just about anything im pretty sure the tigers 1s can
I dont know why you're recommending new/low BR players to shoot the barrel or the turret for T26 variants & the T29, T30, T32 when every single one of these are easily destroyed with one shot to the MG port, but still W video ig
For the american heavies i just aim machine gun port lol. Theres also 2 weakspots on the hull, where the driver and machine gunner sit its the hatch or something. Very awkwards shot tho
9:51 The cupola weakspot is mostly a think in world of tanks. In warthunder only arty vehicles can reliably kill these heavies with a cupola shot (saying this as a Bandkanon enjoyer)
I met an is6 in a bkan... It let me shoot it about 3-4 times. Then a hull shot one shots me. 😅. But in Normal matches the things hilariously fun. Especially when you take out 3 tanks from long range before they can get a shot off on you.
Hey dumb question here I am sure but how do you set this stuff up? I assume some sort of custom mission editor but how to get you get to select certain units, line them up and have them not move?
I absolutely hate the russian bias every match there is atleast 1 t34 or is3 while im in my tiger 2 h sla and cant pen the is3 and the t34 is penable but weakspots are like playing with a fork in a changing port. Like why is it always those guys who ruins my fun. I want to play against opponents from my br and not 1 higher. TF is the problem with gaijin. Even if i get one guy at my br guess what my shot bounce on weakspots or fricking hit bullshit. One thing is the worst of all the bush creeps who always hide like we are playing hide and seek. Its to brocken find someone who hides in a bushy area while he is wearing those expensive pay to hide bs and snipes you across the map. FIND THOSE GUYS IS ANNOYING AS HELL. Yeah i get it why its there but why is it behind a pay wall.
