These are some weak European Countries that were really strong in the past
First is Austria which today can be seen as a smaller version of Germany. However between 1867 and 1918, its union with Hungary known as the Austro-Hungarian Empire was extremely powerful.
However it had many ethnicities which led to its collapse.
Secondly, there's Serbia. This country was once known as Yugoslavia. It also had numerous ethnicities like Croatians and Bosnians, who didn't like sharing a country with Serbians leading to its collapse.

Demographics aside, France is one of the strongest countries in Europe, way more self reliant than Germany and a long patriotic tradition. Calling a nuclear-armed state "weak" will be fatal.

@@jasondean1634can't say I agree. I think both countries (Germany and France) are pretty strong and most probably the strongest in europe right now. However just as other countries in Europe (and Germany as well) France is really dependent inter-european. Also the dependence of germany to countries outside of europe has shown to be not as critical as you might think. So yeah both countries are strong, but I would still rate Germany higher than France

@@dvlogs8127 Learn to write. France was one of the stronger militaries in WW1 and the very start of WW2. France lost because it's tactics weren't good in WW2 and letting Germany growing stronger was a mistake. Yet, a conjoit forc of France and UK could've destroyed Germany in 1939.

The B1-Bis was amongst the best tanks of the start of the war. The main issue was the center of command. But a lot of soldiers continued the fight while being surounded until no more ammo were left.

Debilu Yugoslavia was first created as a joined country of Slovenia, Croatia and Serbia in 1920 and a month later became a kingdom. In 1929 Kingdom SHS(serbians, croatians and slovenians) renamed into Kingdom of Yugoslavia but after the second WW it became SFRY(Socialist Federal Republic Yugoslavia) until its collaps in early 90es

Hungary was not in a union with Austria. Austria conquered Hungary but after some time there were so many Hungarians in the empire that autrians were forced to give more recognition to them. Changing the name of the empire was one of the solutions.

Austria at its zenith was way before 19th century, it was around the reign of Charles the fifth who ruled as HRE emperor, king of Spain, Duke of Burgundy and Lord of the Netherlands. Well, the Habsburg came so close to conquer most of Western Europe, they even captured French king Francis the first and could’ve overrun France had it not for the Ottomans intervention.

Serbia was not known as Yugoslavia because Serbia was NOT Yugoslavia. YUGOSLAVIA was a union of 6 republics and ONE of them was Serbia Also Bosnians is not an ethnicity, Bosnians are sinols the citizens of Bosnia, no matter what ethnicity they belong to, similar to Belgians.

To be quite honest, the UK might have sired the US but we have more German influence than English. There are over 50 Million ethnic Germans in the US due to their high migration rates in the 1800's, followed by the Irish and Italians. The English as a whole make a very small percentage but I get what you mean sort off since Austria and Bavaria have too much in common with Germany, Bavaria being German territory is hard to tell. I think a more apt analogy would be Americans with Canadians which I think the US should annex already since they've failed hard as a country. They're a liability to NATO.

Austro-Hungrarians did not fail due to different ethnicities, it failed because they lost the war. So are the German Empire and the Russian Empire. Austro-Hungarians came up with very liberal policies towards different people. Lenin modeled USSR from AH it seems.

Serbia was a part of Yugoslavia, but Yugoslavia was way more than just Serbia, and also Yugoslavia didn't break up because "Croatians and Bosnians didn't like sharing the land with Serbians", that is a way more complex situation and also the first ones to leave Yugoslavia, who by the way was the union of slaves from the south, and not the country we now know as Serbia, were the Slovenians.

Depends what you mean. Austria-Hungary had a rapidly growing economy and was industrializing itself, but in terms of influence it was a junior partner of Germany and its army was badly neglected.
