When you start to introduce the mush/royal canin do you stick to the same schedule as nursing.. like every 3-4 hrs or do you slow down to 3 or 4 times a day?
I dont remember if he said it but definitely keep your mother dogs calcium at good levels...if they get low ive noticed they get grumpy or anxious and that is when they tend to hurt or kill one of their own puppies
Not good...mine went into labor and was pushing before I could get to the vet for c section...long story short one puppy died in birth canal because it couldn't get pushed out. Dont risk it

Did you have the PVC pipes and corner pieces, see James videos on setting up a whelping crate. The set-up saves that process of the mother laying on the pups and suffocating them?
Hi ive been weaning mine for about 2 weeks now, some are 5 weeks and some 6, the mums just lost interest and only go in there now to try and steal their food. Thing is i make the mush but im adding Royal canin puppy milk powder to it, do i need to keep adding that? Cheers
Would like to hear about what to do if dogs have brown discharge. Our dog was 42 days pregnant when she got sticky brown discharge. She had temp of 37.9c and eating like a champ but wouldnt drink. We found out from vet the goo had turned solid blocking her from peeing. Vet was stumped over why she had the one of discharge though as no infection was found

Frenchies are stubborn as is...he didn't beat the crap out of them, jus a small pop. If you don't do firm discipline you'll have them pissing and shitting all over house, and tearing up all sorts of things. I know people that are way too lenient on their dogs and their house smells like a filthy puppy mill.
James where do you get that wire floor that sits in the crate to keep the puppies out of the pee and poop, that does go down from the wire floor onto the plastic tray in the create?
