Congratulations Mr & Mrs Chapman 😍Margot is just cutest ever 😍, I did jars and finger foods with my eldest but my other two I used plums & ella pouches and I loved Annabelle karmel weaning baby book- absolutely loved the book. I used to make batches over the weekend , porridge was brilliant, make and freeze lol. Then whatever we had I cooked I would do what Sarah is doing. 😍

Thanks for talking about the pouches, I have a 9 month old and honestly I hate cooking and don’t have the time for it so I usually give him a pouch, my husband doesn’t mind cooking so when he’s home he’s the one that makes the fresh veggies and salmon or meat for baby. I did feel a bit guilty when seeing Sarah’s posts on insta of all the food she makes for baby so it’s nice that you clarified that you also use pouches. Don’t need anymore mum guilt over here, I feel it all the time. You’re so spot on about the guilt, that’s exactly what I feel. Like when I see someone’s baby playing with a certain toy in my head i’m like “if I don’t get that for my baby he wont be as happy or smart as this other baby” the guilt is crazy. I literally bought around 50 kids books for baby before he was even born cause I was scared that if I don’t get him reading all these books that he will miss out and wont be smart and will have struggles later in life. Arghh honestly the parenting guilt is one of the hardest things about parenting for me
Damn Jim, you hit the absolute lottery with Sarah, it has to be said. She's not only gorgeous but she's smart, down to Earth, and funny.. AND she can cook too? Tf? ;) (Not that all women need to cook btw, I'm not saying that! I'm a woman and while I know how to cook classic Puerto Rican dishes.. I eat the same egg whites, salads, chicken breasts, and broccoli literally every day lol I can't be bothered)
I absolutely loved this video, as a first time mum I completely get the guilt and the not doing enough, thankyou for showing that ♡ I would love more weaning recipes and more margo content ofcourse she's so precious. My son is nearly 8months old and we are the same as you trying to get him to eat what we eat. Loved this video and big congratulations to you both 🥰💍

I find it so interesting how weaning changes over the years. My kids are 25 and 27 yrs old and back when I was weaning them it was so strict on not mixing ingredients, no fish till after one year old etc. Now I heard that you should give peanut butter sooner than a year to help not get allergies. I would love those fishcakes too btw they sound delish. Way to go Margo!! :)
I can not believe she old enough to eat!!! Yes the frist few days or week its all about baby playing and handling the food. 😅 alot of gagging but dont worry its all reflects haha
