This is a tutorial going over how to perform a weapon smuggle which is useful for bringing the blue flame over to the tech labs. / player5 / player5sr #shorts #speedrun #zelda #botw #glitch #tutorial
@@itszefas Not if you pull out the torch as a melee weapon while you're riding the horse. Swing it at the flame and you're set as long as you don't press B. That's how I lit the flame for Akkala in under a minute, full gallop with a lit torch made it easy.
Alternatively, for a bit longer of a run but not having to set up a glitch. Use your bow, light an arrow and shoot it at the farthest torch/lantern you can hit. Saved me a few steps before
@@DeathnoteBB you can have the torch out while riding a horse. And you can even sprint with the horse. Therefore it's fast and easy to light the furnace, without glitches. I don't really get your confusion here?
1. Blue flame will blow up your bombs, so just be careful. 2. The smuggle is also possible if you hold your shield out, pick up, unequip your shield before animation ends. Same smuggle, less buttons 3. Use a horse if you're not comfortable windbombing 4. If you don't want to do any of that, get a bow and arrow, light the arrow and shoot a lantern. Then go to that lantern and repeat
I knew about this, but I actually like doing it the correct way. The challenge is more enjoyable for me & I usually wear Majora’s Mask while doing so. Still though, nice tutorial⭐️
or you know, set a cloud on (blue) fire and make it rain on the hill. you just have to press A+B+X, do a backflip, roast a chicken, sing halleluyah, frontflip, doublejump, equip the left sock of Tingle's costume, unequip it, shoot an arrow through a needle's head and boom: blue rain. easy
My technique was just keep running and if i needed to climb or swim id chuck the torch over, if you’re smart about it the monsters can’t even catch up to you lol
This is like when you're first learning to play guitar and then you watch a video of Eddie Van Halen playing Eruption. Makes you want to just quit playing forever.
There is a NPC in the stable close to Akkala Ancient Tech Lab that wanted you to light a lantern as fast as possible that technique would be very useful.
LoL I didn't know the blue flame quest was a thing for someone. I did it in my first time without flaws. Just threw the torch through the river then jumped to the other side and climbed the rest with it in hands.
Btw an easier way to do the glitch is to press your inventory button and the a button at the same time then unequip your shield in the menu. If you do it right the glitch should work
So, I for some reason didn't consider torches or sticks as a possibility here. My first time doing this, I was stuck in the typical Zelda puzzle strategy of shooting arrows through the fire and hitting the lanterns. I got about a third of the way or so before reaching a point where this strategy just wasn't practical and, after some testing, realized I was just dumb.
I use mah horse for fast transport, I still have to try it with the akkala tech lab tho. At hetento I just got my horse to jump the small river between the blue flame thing and the path to the tech lab
For those too lazy to use glitches, just place a cryonis block in the river leading to the furnace. Then one you have the flame on your torch, you can jump up the block without link putting the torch away, effectively skipping all the monster encounters. Very easy and no extra stuff required
They did that quest in 6 seconds. I spent hours. It doesn't show but im crying inside. I never been good with the glitches anyway. I put the labor in and play games the way they were intended. I play very few games i dont need to rush them, if i spend 1000 hours into it then so be it, it was the best 6 months of my life lol
Be me- puts blue flame on torch. -Runs to other torch posts along the way, doesnt see the blue flame aizzle out. -End up making it all the way to the labs with no problem ever. -wonders if this was supposed to be difficult. I remember this being a pain when i played the first time but that was a few yrs ago so idk if something changed since then.
