Remember I was watching this documentary back in 2010/2011. Back then it a swedish TV Channel called it "French Mafia". Never seen a better and/or more real documentary ever since, and I've been thinking about this one so many times. Thank you for bringing it back! Never delete it please 🙌
No they aren't any different , criminals are some of the most interesting and unique people on earth , and they have a very important role in society. Some criminals are hacks and fail and others are well disciplined and smart enough to develop an amazing unique routine of success
@@DontTickle its not, many criminals have different trades, methods and ethics, aswell as the fact that not all criminals are moving such large quantities and shooting kalashnikovs
@@RenixGames they must have taken it down Jesus Christ it's the most insane thing ever in the early 2000s where some guys basically took advantage of a bunch of crazy homeless people and got them to do crazy stuff like fight with each other and do vandalism and stuff I'm using voice to text so hopefully my text makes sense I have it on my computer bro but it's a lot to send to someone because there's four episodes each an hour long or so

Maybe the local police are ( IN ON THE CAR STOLEN CRIME )? No one would ever suspect the police. Such a good front cover. Just like on the ( F.B.I. Files ) some jurisdiction of Florida Police were stealing and killing local drug dealers . Plus reselling drugs kept in the police station. That was previously stollen and taken from street drug dealers. They were investigated and sent to prison. This was after there was a ( MAJOR INTERNAL AFFAIRS INVESTIGATION ) ,( PLUS WITH THE HELP OF THE F.B.I. ) these Florida CORRUPT Police were placed in prison. Since then that Florida Police Department has really cleaned it self up. Some of these crimes committed by these corrupt Florida BAD Police went on the news.
Journeyman did a very good job on this Documentary. He couldnt of been more on point with the reality of what actually goes on. You cant do much more than go on the actual crimes runs yourself. And in return, we get very high quality content.
Upon watching this crime doc for the 2nd time, I can't help reemphasizing how rare, unique, & outstanding this doc. is, for it unfolds us to witness & perceive it from those criminals' perspective. I've seen numerous crime docs. here in the US & Japan's one on RU-vid but this one stands distinguished above the rest, cause it was created entirely from the criminals' point of views. For example, the criminal had outrun the police car w/ such ease. And the weapons they use seem to be much more powerful than those of law enforcers! ( also highly powerful & effective explosives for bank robbery, for they are designed for the use in wars.) Nonetheless, I just wanna mention how valiant, gritty, & brave those photographers are, cause they were risking their lives (or dicing w/ death ) for this doc.. For that, they certainly deserve a special pat on the back for a job exceptionally well done. Btw, the FBI in the USA would feel intense aversion to this doc.w/ absolute certainty. I feel that it is certainly our privilege to be able to enjoy & appreciate it on RU-vid for FREE!!,,,,,Many thanks to them all concerned,,,,,,From California,,,,,(06/05/23)

I am not even finished with it and had the same thought. I have been surprised several times in the first 30 mins by just how much these guys let him capture on film, not only that but how accommodating they were to him getting the stuff on film.
no no you almost had it correct... it was a Audi with a Audi V10 engine Lamborghini just used the same engine for their Gallardo and gave it some upgrades (Audi RS6 V10 C6) @@KeithBerry-wc1jx
@MozrowDrops I think the other guy was trying to mention another similar speed chase while trying to one up the other guy, but for sure there's dudes everywhere outrunning helicopters and radios
bunch of amateurs, at least in the drug buisness. You dont drive at night and hoping the police is not at the border. You drive at daylight and then walk thru the woods wen passing the border, then back to the car.
@@sergiusamxander4615 no problem doing that if you are a few people. You can easily take 40kg by yourself and walk like 500m thru the woods and to a car waiting on the other side of the border.
@@damilercf Ironically, by being willing to record how they did stuff they may have done something more productive and long lasting than more successful, quieter criminals.
This was a great documentary! The camera crew were not afraid at all even in high speed cop chases! 😮 Much love and props to the film maker and camera crew from San Diego, California!!!
if you google the guy at 32:45, you'll find he escaped many times from jail with explosives or helicopter, and even a fake gun made with paper. These guys are real Gs, none like them out here in US.
The fact that the thief at minute 35:35 mentions the movie HEAT as one of their frame of reference on how to heist an armored car, makes me love even more that movie, its legacy, and Michael Mann's work. Btw, Heat 2 is in negotiations process, let's cross our fingers for Mann doing again an outstanding job.
I must have watched heat around a dozen times. The bank heist always get me on edge. It's like a large hit of caffeine. The sounds of that gunfire is enough to raise ones heart rate.
I wonder what would've happen if they got caught? Would they have been arrested? If so would charges be dismissed? I don't know laws in France well. In America if you are with people during a crime you can be charged. Also, it makes me laugh that the car thief has a thriving legitimate business. Awesome. A man of opportunity.
@@tylerkinley268Journalists do have the right to make good, honest and interesting content and they have job secret (no idea what its called in English) so i dont think they would get in to much trouble (they would be arrested ofcourse but released soon after)
@@Nick-fw5uj ah. Yeah here many states have a law that if you were with somebody when they committed the crime, you are an accessory. If they stumble upon a crime and record, no problem. But going along with a criminal for the express purpose of committing a crime so that they could record it would probably fall under accessory here. Somebody would sue the reporter/outlet and blame them for the car thief doing what car thieves do. This is a million times more interesting than the crap that we get on American news.
What I wonder is, how absolutely profesional are these criminals. They let a guy record nearly everything they do, while they commit multiple crimes. And they commit them well, too ! Madlads. And the cameraman is even more brave. At every point of the filming, I would expect a bullet to land in my head 😂 but it is clear these criminals are polite people who chose a... fascinating business route xD
Many of things in this obviously are not staged since seen this in real life and visited sketchy parts of the world to know enough to never go back to, however it stood out to me that they kept flexing how the weapons came from Yugoslavia, this doc was made and released around 2010 2011 yet Yugoslavia didn't existed for more then 10 years at that point, it's like they said they got the weapons from South Pole and their 1st hand source is Santa Clause ... However I did recognized some of the weapons that were manufactured in Serbia alone and those you could buy legally in France since Serbia legally exported weapons all over ... But EVERYTHING coming from one place being said over and over is exhausting and sketchy. Like magically no other country in Europe smuggles arms or drugs but magically somehow everything comes from Russia or Serbia in this case "Yugoslavia" a country that stopped existing a long time by then and is split into many other countries and often just Serbia is to blame, Serbia who in reality was exiled from it's own property Serbs who were killed and exiled FROM THEIR OWN LAND BY FAKE NATIONS AND NATO parasites fully funded by Vatican in ALL WARS ... Something bad is on the streets "oh it must be coming from these two places" f__k off ... Hate when people have these political agendas mixed in their local garbage crimes and showcasing their incompetence that magically their own country crimes will be less heavy or relevant then the two's they mentioned that THEIR COUNTRY actually attacked. NATO is basically the biggest nazi organization after WW2 yet they act like they are saving the world. Vatican and NATO comited more crimes against humanity and poisoned the planet then any actual terrorist or petty criminal organization in the world yet somehow they act like they are saints.
@@minmogrovingstrongandhealthyI'd say they refer to the weapons being of Yugoslavian make, not actually coming from Yugoslavia. They usually end up in black markets all over the world, coming from a number of Yugo ex-republics whose corrupt officers get rid of "surplus" this way, or from shady people who kept them after the war for this exact purpose. Just my take tho, not an expert or anything.
@@perrycheong1058 Protecting them, my father and many others I know were in Yugoslav army (Serbian) and their task was to protect civilians no matter what their pronounce was and keep the terrorists away. They successfully did this for 5 years until it was ordered to leave. Lots of those catholics and muslims people left too with the Serbian army upon leaving. They didn't fight at all we are friends even to this day granted some passed away due to age. So put your idiotic fairy tales to bed. Fact is Croatia and Bosnia so as these fake nations were created by nazis supported by NATO, EU, UN, USA, fully funded by Vatican performing genocide on Serbs on Serbian legitimate lands in their home, this is how each war started. Given all this Serbs were quite forgiving towards others. So STFU.
That's real journalism. The journalists were putting their freedom and safety on the line just to get an interesting story. They were absolutely accessories to multiple crimes but it was worth it.
“Can we film some of you when you commit crimes?” The arms dealer: *ADVERTISMENT* “Look this AK is very high quality and I have these guns too and explosives, all for a good price!”
I don't understand either, but man am I glad they did! This was spectacularly interesting to see, especially towards the end where they also talked about their lives outside of crime. This truly is a masterpiece of a documentary!
Fox certainly earned his nickname. Has a good business front to help cover up. The handheld device he used are not as expensive now. In the U.S. there are websites that will sell you better quality devices made for Locksmiths without even asking for your Locksmith License number. Also people can buy cloners and sit about 100 feet away to get a keyless entry code. Within a few hours someone could have a key cut and even a working key fob
@hansgans297that’s the point of the speed dummy. The point is that before the cops can set up road blocks and spikes, before they can get the bird in the air they’ll already be miles away.
It can be described as young men trying unrelentingly to eke out a living in this cruel world. As deadly as it is, thank you for this brilliant documentary and journalism.

legendary document!! Reduan Faid the street never forgot!!! I will never forget how I went to my friends and said: guys, you have to see this. the best documentary ever
Honestly it’s loads better having “criminals” like this on the streets, than having big-headed, violent, “wanna be gangster” narcissists, who spread pain and use vulnerable people to run their “business”
This documentary is way better than anything National Geographic has put out. All they show is "Actor's" with their face's blurred and their voice's disguised. 🇮🇪
Coming from someone who was a DT, when he made it through the last tollbooth a smile even came to my face because i know the feeling, watching a documentary were the DT doesn't get caught was actually really refreshing
I spent my entire twenties, 138 months, in the Federal Bureau of Prisons here in America. While viewing this i have to keep repeating to myself; nothing is worth losing my freedom. Nothing is worse than living in fear everyday.
Hey Fool …these guys get light sentences in Europe and,Eu prisons r paradise compared to America….holding up cash trucks & shooting out with cops r serious crime(u could face life in fed and, state prisons , if u get caught with explosives 🧨 stuffs especially the one that guy holding IT bombs 💣 …that’s a federal crime and,u will be going to federal prison ..easily they will send u for 40 to life …..EU law enforcement seems like lack a lot of things
@HighExplosiveDualPurpose40mm I was arrested on Revolution Ave in 1985. They took all of my weed & money and arrested my partner in crime for warrants out of Colorado. Luckily, I had $800 crammed into one of my boots. So they kicked me out of Mexico at the San Ysidro border crossing and went to San Diego Intl. Airport and flew to New Orleans.
This made me realize something that should be obvious: the criminal world is hierarchical in the sense that the dumb common street criminals stay towards the bottom where they can do their job, while the smart ones who can do a high-stakes job and not get caught are at the top. And then at the very top I imagine it’s a mix between very smart (criminals who managed to grow their large businesses into empires like the cartels and mafias) and very lucky (those who strike gold, such as an abandoned Yugoslav arms depot) criminals.
Not much more to say all has been said in the other comments I just want to congratulate everyone who helped make this happen this is should be the model of how to make a documentary so raw and real that you can't even make up a better one!!

@@prabhdeepdhahan1147 Never said he wasnt a walking bank, just said wholesale is well, whole and on sale, so when you sell it, you kinda have to sell more than a few keys for it to be worth the risk, but then with the added weight/risk, profits go up with less work, buying 10kg vs. 20kg. and then selling it can't really be considered working "harder/more" vs. steet dealer who will need to buy more and then work more hours to make more money, doesnt matter how hard he works, he will never see a dime like the man he buys product from.
You could make millions off that batch, but it takes so much more time and work. Now he is making €150k in a couple hours work, that’s better than a criminal making double that being on the streets the whole day
I think police men should be journalists. Man uncovers so much in 1 year with a camera and a tonne of courage, than police really do for generations. Incredible reporting💯💯
He was so fascinated by the details of armored van robbery.. yet he decided to rob one 250 meter from a police station and not having a timestop on how long to stay :D
We live in a world where you can be an eletrician coming home from Germany, and a BMW passes you slowly on the highway. Only it is full of drugs 😂 Insane, absolutely insane documentary ! Just goes to show how many different lives coexist next to each other. Your neighbour could be a drug overlord and you'd just think he likes partying late into the night when he arrives home at 3 in the morning 😂
this is so risky for the journalist and camera man, high props. not because of the thiefs, but because of the police. in this situation your risk is more likely to get shot by police in action
i think that was a Freudian "combo" slip... he was thinking about the singular need of the user's dose then how you split the kilo into gram sized bags for selling and that is what a user may buy or how it will be handed out on the LOW level of dealing. he may also not really know the actual amount a "dose" really is so if you think about cocaine you usually buy it by the gram and thats what someone might need for the day/night... heroin is different tho, especially w the ones who shoot it.
i cant wrap my head around one thing: how do the criminals come to decision to go ahead with being part of those documentaries? Drug smugglers, car thieves, gun dealers?! wtf
Good morning! I've stolen a lot of expensive cars myself, but your car thief at the beginning of the video gives me puzzles. Just because you stole an R6 with 600 hp doesn't make you omnipotent over the police, especially not when so many are already in your area. Even if you turn off the lights, the brake lights will still light up, and why is he knocking down a Mini to pick it up later? If the owner finds out, he calls the police and they wait for the professional car thief to come a second time. No, that's not how you act as a car thief, but hey, you don't have to believe everything. Greetings

If you guys like and enjoy this, be sure to give the wire a shot. It is one of the best tv shows out there. It is similar to a documentary where they show the police side of things as well as the criminal side of things with no bias. Really goes in depth, it shows the homeless people and how they live, the runners who distribute the drugs to the homeless and other dope fiends. then it shows you the suppliers for the drugs as well as the distributors of guns, cars and everything. It then goes to the top of the drug chain as well as the politicians and people in power. Very interesting watch, miles better than this youtube documentary.
@@neri6633 But the people who wrote it wrote from real life experience. A detective with 30 years on the force, actual drug dealers.. all from Baltimore. So they were the most realistic "fiction" you can find.
