Great video and style tips! My favorite brands of Wide leg jeans and trousers are from Old Navy and American Eagle... Which both have good short and petite sizes... Thank you for sharing!!
Great tips, Liz! I have two pairs of wide-leg jeans from the Scoop brand at Wal-Mart that I've had for probably three years now, so I'm glad to see they're still trending. When I started wearing mine at work (retired now), everyone else was still wearing skinny jeans! 😅
Oohhh the skinny jeans I kind of cringe when I see myself in those looking back 🤣 I have heard Walmart had some nice options, unfortunately for me Walmart and several other affordable store similar don’t carry long and so I have to search wider. But this is good to know for the petites out there! Thank you Rose!!❤️😊
Hi Pyt💕😊 I know Chico’s was a surprise to me. But I love the size range and fit they have in bottoms. You gotta try it out and let me know what you think.
I just bought a pair of wide leg off white jeans at Kohl's the Draper James fit perfect, and were on sale plus Kohl's cash got them under $25 I was so please, I also bought from Chicos the kick flare and love them also.
Good morning, Liz. I've just recently gotten into the wide leg jean style. I'm guilty of baggy over baggy. I'm just more comfortable. I prefer doing a front tuck if the top is oversized. I love American Eagle jeans, since they offer short sizes. Nothing is ever low rised on me, being short waisted. I prefer a mid rise as well. I think if the jeans are too long, they look sloppy. Rag&Bone were my go to for skinny jeans. I haven't worn them in months, says the woman who was never going to stop wearing skinny jeans, LOL. Thanks for the video. Enjoy your Sunday. 💞💞
@@StylishandGratefulI remember when I thought I'd never wear skinny jeans. 😅 You are so right. Like everything else, they'll make a comeback! Front or side tucking is the best! My husband hates it, but what does he know! Men just don't get fashion. 🤦♀️
Think it depends on your general style and shape....I love distressed worn denim and have done for years long before the recent-ish re revival ......but it's what you feel comfortable is it not.... if you don't care for it don't wear it....
Have you tried American Eagle Stretch high waisted Stovepipe utility pants? Quality is great (size 1 down as stretch is really good) and the fit is great too! The leg is wide but not obnoxiously wide. Good for us older generation who want to stay on trend but not look sloppy. Slimming too which is what I look for ALWAYS 🤭.
There is a rule for all women. I can't wear a long dress or one that hits knee to just below. I can wear tea length or above the knee. Trends come and go, wear what makes you happy and suits you in "your" mirror. I have a loose tapered ankle leg from Old Navy. If you're interested in trying. I do have long legs but the cut may work for you.
Agreed. Even though I have long legs, I have a short torso, so wide leg overwhelms me. I opt for BOOT CUT and STRAIGHT bc they’re leaner in the hips & knees, which flatter me.
Wide leg denim is still a big no for me. I don't need the extra 20 pounds. Thank goodness for straight leg denim. Definitely love the higher waist, so flattering and comfortable. It is interesting to hear how opinionated people are about this issue. I hear more people disliking wide legs than liking them.
At 5FT 11IN tall I'm never going to find jeans or trousers long enough now that New York and Company is gone😮....they all are just a tad or a lot too short...story of my life I guess....
Great suggestions from others, I'd also suggest trying out a western wear store. My grandma and a cousin were both over 6' tall. They swore by Wrangler, and my cousin also found some styles in the Lucky brand that she loved.
I’m not a fan of cropped pants personally, but it would depend on the season. If your ankle is out it should be a slimmer more delicate elongating shoe.🌻
