I been using this for little less than a week! And barely found your site. I enjoy it.. but when you wear it just make sure the silicone is completely tight after adjusting bra. I've spilled so much unknowingly

I’ve been using it a few times and still haven’t fallen in love yet. The pump part doesn’t securely fastened to the container at all and easily pops up. I consider getting a smaller flange too. I never remembered what the heart and other button meant but now I got a refresher, thank you! My lactation consultant recommended I pump 8x a day to boost my supply so I’m definitely going to try it again.

Ive already purchased this pump. We are due to have our little girl in 3 months . I’m glad I came across this video, I’m just going to go ahead and order the other flange size. Working from home so I’m trying to stock up and anything that’ll help while my hands are busy.

I love this pump however I don't have the correct flange size yet but even with having the wrong flange size I get more than I was getting with my other pump, not .a wearable pump and I'm not rich so unfortunately I cannot compare it to other pumps.

Use massage phase first to promote let down or release of milk the switch to expression once milk starts to come.

I have been pumping for a while with no regular schedule, I've slowly decreased to twice a day because I have so little milk. My baby is three months old and has been on a combination of formula and breastmilk. If I pump more, will my milk increase. She doesn't take the breast.

Hello, pumping more/ more regular emptying and stimulation will likely improve your supply. If you are able to increase pumping sessions, It is the first place to start. This will help send your body more messages to produce milk. Good Luck mama

Without knowing all the details I'm going to assume you only pump and don't nurse directly....if that is the case ; then pumping more frequently will help increase your milk supply but nothing as much as direct breastfeeding. Even if you can put your baby to the breast to suckle : or pacify will help you increase your milk supply. I don't know if your issue is not producing enough ....or not extracting enough while pumping .

Does fibrocystic breast disease effect milk production or change breast feeding?

Thats a great question. It may, but in different ways for different people. You should certainly be able to breastfeed. Sometime cystic breasts are more dense and can make deep latching a bit more difficult at first (but not always), just make sure you get help with latching technique if you are unsure about baby's latch. If someone has had surgeries or biopsies for cystic breasts, it *potentially* could affect milk flow depending on where and how much scaring is present. But try not to worry too much about what can happen, and just see how things go. Overall, fibrocystic breast disease shouldn't keep you from breastfeeding.

Glad you asked, I am going to do a video about this soon. But yes this is actually a pump I’ve been using frequently in my Lactation journey so far. I wouldn’t use this as my primary pump for establishing a milk supply, not quite as strong as something like a Spectra or other double electric breast pump for emptying the breast. What I have loved it for is pumping the opposite breast when I’m breast-feeding my baby because she is currently only able to latch to one side, so I pump the other breast with this pump. It’s useful because it fits right in my bra and it’s easy to clean. I also used it to pump while driving to OB or pediatrician appointments. Great for pumping in the car.
