Some of the 1:1s you can't even tell side by side. Infact in those cases I often think the retail is fake because the quality is WORSE than teh reps lmao.

True I have multiple pairs of shoes and I just wear them in a short of rotation and a while back I got some fake air forces while I was on holiday and I even forgot they were fake and no one noticed I just remembered after seeing the photos from the holiday so morale of the story no one cares enough to get a microscope up to your shoes and check them
It's high school. There are kids coming in with BO so bad you can smell it from across the classroom, and you think people are going to comment on your shoes?
I remember when my daughter NEEDED a pair of Jordan's.....she wore them TWICE because they weren't comfortable. I remember when she HAD to have real Sperry's too. I made her save up for half...less than 6 months later every time she took them off it smelled up the room like rotten pork sausage and cheetoes. She wore them for 2 years anyway because I made her pay for half of them. Son is SO much easier with shoes, he never complains, literally his dad buys him 1 pair a year and he wears them until they have holes or his feet grow. Doesnt complain about brand as long as they are comfortable.

even sneakerheads don't know if they have fake or real jordans they act like they do but guarantee they have plenty of reps in there collection and not know it

Honestly nobody cares if your shoes are fake most people just worry about themselves. like I don’t care about if others wear reps but me personally would rock the real ones
