My memory of NC (outerbanks) was cold bit I was also like *biking against the north wind* to go to work. I remember in my four years the one day in probably...January where it snowed and stuck for a day and everyone lost their minds having to drive in it and the walkways were clear so I could just...bike to work just fine. And it was warmer. But yea usually it was like 40 degrees in winter. I learned to insulate fashionably down there. Lots of leggings under skinny jeans and then a rain pant over it while biking.
