Islam is not confined with geographic location east vs west it is for all human mankind. From where this shaikh is deriving such conclussion. There is no Islamic clothes. The Qur'an is clear about this matter but what confuses it are the hadiths and their interpretation by so called scholars. Salafi or wahabi or any nomination you give for yourselves means you are a party, a sect of Islam that is why you have a tag, a nomination. Muslims are Muslim and that is all. Iman/faith is what you believe in the heart, you testify through your mouth, and the act you do. In the matter of act of Iman, you do not act to use outer appearance to make you looks like a kuffar (tasyabuh) and do not support them in their beliefs.
