“The curfew tolls the knell of parting day,
The lowing herd wind slowly o’er the lea,
The ploughman homeward plods his weary way,
And leaves the world to darkness and to me.”
Elegy Written In A Country Churchyard - Thomas Gray
Published 1751
Much inspiration for this composition is from those beautiful Western movie themes, accompanied by scenes of big spaces, skies and sunsets. The beginning of Thomas Gray’s classic poem also seems very applicable.
Last year there was a field near my home with lots of horses which would have made a perfect backdrop for a video. Now though it’s a bit early in the year for the horses to return, so I found another spot which I think worked well. And the weather obliged with a glorious sunset.
Thank you for watching and listening.
Wishing you peace, happiness and good health.
