Where is Dennis Smith today? I remember when he did forecasts on the Weather Channel.

TWC used that same map style for conditions deep into the '90s. I think they finally changed it in 1997. Compared to today, where they've changed it like five times since 1997. The satellite didn't change much before 2000.

They didn't have the kind of technologies we now use back then.
