There should be a line of sealant running 1/2 an inch in from BOTH “drawn on” lines, with a zigzag line running between these two parallel lines, to make the entire edge adhere securely.

Should this not also have a parallel line of sealant running the same direction as the marked lines? I done think that was enough sealant according to the installation instructions I had in my guide.

C Kerr - YES..... there should be a line of sealant running 1/2 an inch in from BOTH “drawn on” lines, with a zigzag line running between these two parallel lines.

Failed to show the garage door butting up to the seal after it was fitted! That's the proof of the pudding!

Nice attempt but installed inside out and the sealant was not put down correctly. May still keep water out in a small rain but the seal will fail soon without the 2 edge beads. Also a novice installer may not know how to line up to the door seal. Sorry but this is a poor video for less mechanical DIYers.
