Thanks! Yeah I started looking at all of the "pro" weather stations and got lost in the options. I literally walked by this at Costco and picked it up. I am sure I will turn in to a weather geek soon enough and look for an upgrade. Thanks for the tip!
Great video. Been looking for something like this for about a year now and with learning got it to work perfectly. Was wondering though if you've come up with a way to limit the number of decimal places output for use in an entities card.
Awesome!!! I am glad it wasn't one of those things that worked for me only. As far as the decimal places, you need to add "| round(2)" to the end of the sensor template. That should round it down to two decimal places. Was it the wind speed?
Thanks for this great video. If I want to use the wind sensor to close my covers is not a greta idea to update the sensors each 3 minuts, it is possible to update the sensors each 10 seconds, for example?. Thanks in advance.
@@ThisSmartHouse thank you so much, I’m looking forward to going through with making this!! Also, subbed because I honestly didn’t expect you to respond to a video this old. You not only make everything you know easy to follow along with, but I can tell you’re really passionate!! Hope the algorithm shines on you and helps your page grow exponentially 🙏🏽
Thank you. I think my content isn't really as "algorithm" friendly as others. I try to go in depth and make it understandable. But we are almost to 10k subs!
I realize that you edit your videos to be as short and concise as possible but the constant jump cuts during your pieces to camera is EXTREMELY annoying. Your content is always informative and I do find your videos helpful but actually watching them drives me nuts.
Thank for the feedback. I have changed the way I record my videos since this video. I now attempt to script most of the talking parts to reduce the cuts.
