Weatherboards of Bendigo and Eaglehawk 

The humble weatherboard house soon graced the muddy streets not long after gold was discovered on Bendigo creek in 1851. Many were not much more than simple log or slab constructions at first, however, as the town then the city became wealthy these houses grew in size and grandeur. Many have gone, some are just hanging in, whilst others have been lovingly restored. Here's to the weatherboard.
