Just an update, 6 months later. The WeatherTech Sunshade has really broken in and fits perfectly! It conforms right around the tuner and goes in easier now. Fully recommend!! Thank you all for checking it out.
2 suggestions 1. You could get a cupholder mount for your tuner Downside: You lose a cupholder 2. You could cut the Weather Tech sunshade in the bottom left corner so the rest of it rolls out. Then you could use felt tape to seal the new edge and insure it does not fray. Downside: Light still gets in where your tuner is mounted
Thanks for the suggestions man! Over time the shade has really broken in and it kind of conforms around the tuner now when I place it on the dash. She was quite stiff and stubborn for awhile but after long enough it breaks on in. The cutting the corner off is prob. the best suggestion!
A little late since this is 2 years old but i moved my suction mount behind the rear view mirror with a longer hdmi and routed through the headliner right where it meets the windshield and the cable bulged the headliner ever so slightly just enough for the covercraft sunshade to sit tightly against it so it sits right against the glass without the sun visors holding it up
Haha oh shoot it ain’t never too late. I’m still here! That’s a great idea and I did think of that as well. Wasn’t sure about the headliner though! Sounds like it worked well and you’ve got a tight seal! Thanks for the info.

Solid idea man but I need the handle on the A pillar. The shade has broken in enough now to where it fits around it. I do love tuners on the a-pillar. I appreciate the advice!
Hey, I was looking at your tuner mount and there are options from ram mount that you could use the bolt that is holding up your oh shit bar on the pillar if you take that little cap off from the bar. I’m pretty sure there will be a bolt in there.
I agree man. Prob gonna let it break in a bit and then see how it is and trim after that. Need to just find a better programmer solution honestly. But I’ll say this shade blocks all light that’s for sure! My previous one had a lot of gaps. That thing was old as the hills. Used to have it in my 85 Bronco. Wish I would’ve left it in there..that dash is smoked now 😭
I’m sure she’ll be alright man. Mine was so old!!! Just figured I’d get something different to prevent it again. The fact that type folds right up and goes in the back of your seat makes it so nice. Man...I got some NFAB steps and tried to put them on....biggest pieces of crap ever. Holes were 1/2” off or more in places. Pitiful for $500! I sent those suckers back. Just gonna have to go with Amps.
I can understand that. I still find myself liking the ease of using the flip out type but if I really want full coverage I still like the weathertech. Hope you can find something you like!
