A Beautiful, intelligent, funny, likable and courageous woman. What’s not to like? Would love to see her and her Top Gun Maverick co-stars together in another movie together. I have an idea in mind that I plan to share with another prominent Hollywood actor in the vein of Cruise. All of the cast had great chemistry and are funny as heck in real life! Also, I’d go see a Top Gun spinoff on Phoenix and how she became a Top Gun pilot. It would follow her from a young girl, possibly the daughter of a Navy pilot and her dream of following in her father’s footsteps.
THIS is how u do a strong female character. No Politics and agenda. Just good ol proper character development. Phoenix is my favorite character in the movie by far. Besides Mav ofcourse. Lol. Monica is amazing. She melts my heart.😍😍👌

She is growing on me, cute, a regular person, not trying to act like a regular person like some well known people try to do to please the public, but she seems like a genuine person, someone who will always be herself and just a good down to earth regular nice gal, I am developing a crush, I am.
Actually flying the Hornet (or any other high end military fighter) is relatively easy. What takes 9 months of conversion training and years to master is employing it as a weapons system. And as has already been mentioned neither she nor any other actor (including Tom Cruise) flew the jets. What they trained for was to be able to convincingly look like they were flying from the back seat. The key part of the training was building up G tolerance, which clearly she had no problem with.
She's such an adorably girly girl when playing herself :D A convincing pilot in TGM, though, and all that training explains why. I'd wanted the DVD release date- heard it here first!

The best thing about Phoenix as a character is the fact that they didn't use her as a love interest. She is stunning but it was treated as utterly irrelevant. Although I got the feeling that there was a back story with her and Rooster
Bloody hell she makes this old git feel like a schoolboy with a hot crush. She is gorgeous and a natural pilot if she wanted to be. She should take a pilot's licence. Get Tom Cruise to teach you.
It was originally supposed to be released in June of 2019, which means they ended filming at least sometime in early 2018, but likely even earlier than that.
she did leave a mark for the Blue Angels they where impressed they do have some past fighter pilots fly with them but she held out and they try hard to put the backseater - VIP to sleep and don’t forget they do not fly with Gsuits front or back
