I got this album as a Christmas gift as a high schooler, and it remains one of my all time favorites. It has some of the finest clarinet playing I have since heard, and to my ears the best renditions of these solo pieces for clarinet (with a bonus transcription of the Andante & Hungarian Rhapsody for bassoon) that you're going to find. I'm sharing the album to RU-vid, because it's actually pretty hard to find these days either on this site or via streaming services. Anyway, enjoy Jon Manasse's gorgeous sound and virtuosic playing.
