Anyone else here that change in tone between 7:35 and 7:36?! He really starts to sing there at like 7:36.5!! I listen to this everyday in the hopes of learning it by ear then, learning the notes and fingerlings. It worked for the Mozart clarinet concerto, why not now ;) amazing job Mr. Kushniarou! I hope to hear more of you in the future!
The reverb in his hall is so good for his sound! lol Earspasm was right, I play in the bathroom sometimes to make myself feel better. But besides that, the amount of air that Mr. Kushniarou puts through the horn is insane!
I've heard a few different interpretations of this piece, I especially like this one because of the expression and it's similarity to that of Stanley Drucker's. It doesn't sound like he's bored. Good work, bravo
Although I may not agree with some of your stylings and how you express certain things, I will not deny the fact that you have put a lot of styling and expression into this performance, which is wonderful. What can't be disputed is that you have performed this phenomenally well. Bravo!
Parts of the performance were muddy, lacking refined technique. The tempo was far too fast for some of the movements, also. The clarinetist sacrificed clarity in an attempt to show off.
