Max Weber was a strong proponent of bureaucracy and proposed 6 characteristics of an ideal bureaucracy. We simplify his characteristics of a bureaucracy and look at a tip to memorise it.

13:41 1. I would need you to define bureaucracy to form an opinion on your proposition of it's meaning. But the way I understand bureaucracy it has organized build and maintained a social system which I value for the unified and personal wellbeing, and at the same time the highest ideal on which I try to improve with unified maintenance. The disadvantages can be made into advantages with new knowledge. But it requires a stepping stone that many have come to known as the bureaucratic wall to slam their head against. So I would propose a better UI to see the bureaucratic stepping stone(s). 2. See p0int 1

I understand what you mean. My opinion on bureaucracy is dependent on its implementation. As a mechanism / system it can work. But it depends on the mindset of the people on the top and the manner of its implementation. It also depends on the type of organisation. A bureaucracy would work better in an organisation like a nation's armed forces than in an organisation which sells gifts on the web. The important aspect is how you as a viewer see it. It would be ideal to get some real examples from people around the world and their experiences
