WEBINAR: Compose anywhere with Sibelius on iPad 

Long time piano/keyboard player here, been playing since I was like five (I’m 52 now), but I would say I am intermediate level… Way less advanced than you guys… I play many different genres, but but I have always found writing my own music to be incredibly difficult and tedious, and therefore I rarely have ever put any original music on paper. I mostly play covers, but occasionally I’ll do some improvising, and I would really love to be able to get some of my keyboard/piano improvisations transcribed correctly. I just started with Sibelius, and I’ve been able to figure out how to get it connected to my Roland FP 30 X digital piano through Bluetooth midi, but I can’t seem to get it to correctly transcribe everything I’m playing… for example, I’ll put it in 12/8 time and play a slow blues, but it won’t recognize that I am playing triplets. Is there a tutorial for us simpletons who just want to have Sibelius correctly transcribe what we’re playing on our musical instruments?

How to add microtones on the ipad version. I can open my already arranged files with microtones, but I can’t create new files on ipad version. My second question is how to share my ios created file on ipad in a ( MUSICxml ) file. And third: how to edit measure numbers ?

Sibelius - work flow is more impotent then notes :)

gotta say, this is not a professional standalone app, as an old time user and owner of the ultimate version, I really disappointed... you cant really start a score from scratch and from some reason when I edited old score on my ipad I was unable to open it again at the desktop version.

Have to tell you Sibelius is extremely difficult to figure out I spend more time trying to find simple answers to things that slow down my work flow …. I mean come on there’s got to be an easier way to find an answer on how to fn’ make a four bar system throughout your score wtf 🤬
