Immunization programs can utilize digital tools such as SMS gateways and mobile platforms to promote vaccination through hyper-local targeted messaging. But what kinds of messages are most effective for these tools to use? What are the barriers to immunization in different communities?
As part of the Digital Results Improve Vaccine Equity and Demand (DRIVE Demand) project, Digital Square partnered with the Busara Center for Behavioral Economics to conduct behavioral research on vaccine hesitancy and intention in four countries. The results were packaged into a Practitioner's Playbook to inform digitally enabled social and behavior change (SBC) approaches.
