You can listen back to our webinar on looking after waterways with the Green Adelaide team - including Tammy Partridge, Acting Team Leader, Urban Water and Martin Stokes, Team Leader Water Allocation and Planning.
Adelaide’s urban creeks, rivers, estuaries, and wetlands provide essential habitat and refuges for native fauna while providing important recreational opportunities.
As most of Adelaide’s waterways run through private land, it is important for landowners to understand how their actions can improve waterway health, and the legal obligations they may have.
While this talk was aimed at council partners, there are important steps we can all take, regardless of where we live, to look after waterways.
This talk is part of our online seminar series ‘Towards cooler, greener, wilder’, which runs monthly throughout 2023 to give you a chance to hear about projects to cool, green and wild metropolitan South Australia.
